FOG Design+Art is excited to announce that the ninth edition of the fair will be held January 19-22, 2023 at Fort Mason Center for Arts and Culture in San Francisco. The fair will open with a Preview Gala on Wednesday, January 18 benefitting the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art’s (SFMOMA) education and exhibitions program. The fair will be co-chaired by philanthropists and collectors Komal Shah & Gaurav Garg. Pioneering musician Linda Ronstadt will be honored at the Innovators Luncheon on Thursday, January 19th, 2023. Ms. Ronstadt is one of the most versatile vocalists of the modern era, with a four-decade career of mastering endless genres of music; Rock and Roll, Country, Jazz, Light Opera, Big Band, Broadway, Mexican, and Afro-Cuban.

CHILDREN’S ACTION NETWORK

This December 7th, Children’s Action Network (CAN) brings back their annual Winter Wonderful. Los Angeles’ top artists, interior designers and noted creative talent will once again create one-of-a-kind wreaths that will be auctioned at a live event and online through Charitybuzz. The high-profile evening at a private residence raises funds to support CAN’s work to find homes for more than 171,000 youth in the foster care system in need of adoptive families. Wreathmakers from years past include Alan Chin, Guy Dill, Beau Dunn, Alexandra Grant, Douglas Kirkland, Kenneth Morehouse, Simon Ouwerkerk, Tig Nataro, Alexandra Nechita, Kirk Nix, Cole Sternberg, Kelly Wearstler, Jane Lynch, Liao Yibai and Brenna Youngblood.

MODERNISM WEEK’S FESTIVAL

Modernism Week’s signature February festival will take place February 16-26, 2023, highlighting midcentury modern architecture, art, interior and landscape design, and vintage culture in the Palm Springs area of Southern California. The popular annual 11-day festival will feature hundreds of events including the Palm Springs Modernism Show, tours of iconic homes in more than 24 neighborhoods, walking tours, and nightly parties. Also offered are architectural double-decker bus tours, fashion-related events, tours of the historic Annenberg Estate at Sunnylands, a classic car show, landscape talks and garden tours, walking and biking tours, and a series of compelling and informative talks with world-class speakers, including the Keynote Presentation by premiere architect Thom Mayne.

KITCHEN & BATH INDUSTRY SHOW

The National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA) announce the 2023 Kitchen & Bath Industry Show. The annual event, owned by the NKBA and produced by Emerald Expositions, is the largest North American trade expo and networking opportunity for kitchen and bath industry professionals. The two shows plan over 985,000 net square feet of exhibit space featuring over 1,300 exhibitors, and nearly 90,000 design and construction professionals are expected to attend. The KBIS 2023 show will include over 420,000 net square feet of exhibits and feature more than 400 exhibitors, including industry-leading brands like Beko, Caesarsatone, Cambria, Cosentino, Delta Faucet, ELKAY, Electrolux, GE Appliances, House of Rohl, KOHLER, Miele, Moen, nobilia, Samsung, Signature Kitchen Suite, TOTO and Wilsonart.
