Two-Day Vet Expo
One Iconic Location
Hosted by the California Veterinary Medical Association
As the President of the California Veterinary Medical Association (CVMA), I am excited to invite you to experience the 2024 Pacific Veterinary Conference (PacVet), to be held on July 11–14! We are proud to offer topnotch CE delivered by the profession’s most sought-after speakers—in none other than one of the most iconic cities in the world, San Francisco!
At PacVet, you will experience four action-packed days of learning, networking, and fun! Choose from over 200 CE sessions, participate in labs and symposia, and explore the two-day Vet Expo, where you can connect with industry representatives and learn about the newest and most exciting products on the market. Come socialize and network with your peers from throughout the world at special events like the UC Davis and WesternU alumni receptions, the Vet Expo Mixer, the Technician Fair, and the President’s Reception.
Kicking off the conference is our inspiring keynote speaker, Dr. Renee Alsarraf, who will present on “Treating Yourself Through a Dog’s Eyes.” A veterinary oncologist and cancer survivor, Dr. Alsarraf will deliver a meaningful message on life lessons gleaned from our dog companions, how to live better, and how to take better care of ourselves and each other.
In the City by the Bay, the opportunities for fun and excitement are endless! Travel the Golden Gate Bridge, explore the corridors of history at Alcatraz, shop and play at Fisherman’s Wharf, center yourself at the tranquil Golden Gate Park, or catch a San Francisco Giants game at Oracle Park. Whether you’ve already made San Francisco your home or you are a first-time visitor, there is always something new to discover in this unique and stunning city!
Unable to attend in person? No problem! The Small Animal Medicine and Technician tracks will be streamed live and online, allowing virtual attendees to interact with the speakers in real time. And for the first time ever, we will be offering our Equine and Avian/Exotics tracks exclusively in an online-only format.
PacVet is not just about excellent CE—it’s also about creating lifelong memories! Veterinarians, RVTs, practice managers, hospital staff, and veterinary and RVT students are bound to find the conference enlightening, inspirational, and fun.
I can’t wait to see you in San Francisco this July!
