Country Elegance – A Nice Place to Call Home.

The Stamford Bulldogs got back on the winning track with the long trek to Ozona to face the Lions to open District 3-2A DI play. The Dogs used quick scoring drives to open a 27-0 halftime lead and matched Ozona’s two touchdowns in the second half to come home with a 41-16 victory. The Lions tried to take a page from Clyde’s book and held onto the football for almost three quarters (35:11 time of possession) to just 12:49 time of possession by the Bulldogs. (Remember: Texas high school quarters are twelve minutes not 15 like college and pros.) SEE BULLDOGS, PG 4
