Bolton Abbey This is a HDR image I put together from my visit to the Abbey. The image came out just how I wanted it to, with the sky providing an epic setting for the focal point of the main part of the abbey ruins. the contrast between the colourful foreground but with spiritual tendancies and the grey backing adds depth to the image.
With these two images, I chose grayscale because the detail in the images worked enough without adding colour. With the colour the dull but bright skies would have come out a bit too overpowering.
Alternative Healings Fair From my visit to an alternate healing festival I collected a strong variety of images to acompany my photostory project. the colours on each stall were all very unique and bold. the objects on sale were
very varied and this created a good setting to get a strong set of photographs. I chose these photographs, because they portray both the colourful pieces avaliable to photograph, and also the differing, interesting objects on offer, each with their own special meanings to the store owners.
