Cal Poly Women’s Soccer at NCAA Tournament Note: The program started in 1992 as an NCAA Division II independent, and played the 1993 season in the California Collegiate Athletic Association. Cal Poly players celebrate the program’s first Big West Conference Tournament championship in 1996 at Titan Stadium in Fullerton. The Mustangs also won Big West tournaments in 2003 (the first year the postseason event was brought back after a five-year hiatus) and 2004. Cal Poly finished in first place in the Big West regular-season standings in 1997, 1999, 2000, 2002, 2003, 2009 and 2013.
