California Southern University Learner Course Extension Policy (May 2022) Course Extension Policy Effective July 1, 2022, a learner requesting a 30-day course extension will be required to submit and pay for the extension request at least 3-business days prior to the end of the course. In general, after this date, submitted extension requests will be denied. Course extensions will only be granted once for each registered course. As a result, learners that do not meet this extension date may face the possible consequences of needing to repeat courses to meet the University’s expected academic grade performance requirements.
