A MIGHTY MASCOT Leaves are falling all around the statue of Vulcan, the Roman god of fire, in the campus quad outside Herron Recreation and Fitness Center. The 12-foot, 4,500 pound bronze statue was created by artist Alan Cottrill and dedicated at Cal U in 2009.
