Admission Evaluation Applications will be evaluated after we receive all documents and admission fees. Applicants may be asked to provide additional evidence of academic proficiency. Decisions typically take 3 to 4 weeks. Once your application has been approved, we will issue a Letter of Acceptance and mail the Form I-20* (Certificate of Eligibility for Nonimmigrant Status) from a CALUMS designated school official (DSO). If you’re an international student, proceed to Step 3.

Official transcript must be requested from all colleges or universities previously attended sent directly to CALUMS in the originally sealed university envelope. Transcripts in foreign languages must be officially translated in English.
Official financial (bank) statement is a proof that you have the adequate funds to support your education in the United States. Minimum required amount is $27,000 (undergraduate) and $25,000 (graduate); and additional $4,500 for each dependent. • Bank statement must be drawn from your financial institution on a letterhead signed by an authorized bank official. This statement must include the total amount stated above. • If you have a sponsor who will cover your expenses, you must fill out the Affidavit for Financial Responsibility form, signed by both the applicant and the sponsor.
Recommendation Letter
Admission Fees
Applicants must have a minimum 4-year bachelor degree in business related areas such as business administration, business management, management, finance, economics, international business, accounting, entrepreneurship, and human resources. Applicants with non-business related degrees are required to take prerequisite courses.
Official Transcripts
Submit at least one recommendation letter from an active member of the academe and/or business professional with credentials who can comment objectively about your professional qualifications.
Proof of English Proficiency*
If English is not your native language, you must submit Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or International English Language Testing System (IELTS) taken not more than 2 years from the date of application. Conditionally, you may take English Proficiency test upon your arrival in CALUMS. If you don’t pass the test, you will have to take English Development classes until demonstrating acceptable English proficiency. TOEFL score required: Undergraduate: 45 iBT Graduate: 61 iBT
