Calvary Church High School Ministry | Summer 2014

r e m m u s o t e m o c Wel Summer is traditionally a time when we take it easy, relax and have fun. This year, we’re taking that attitude with our events – you’ll notice things are a little less structured, and more laid back. We want to encourage students to use this time to seek out new ways of experiencing God and have intentional conversations with their friends and leaders. As we explore different areas of West Michigan together, we’ll allow room for students to slow down and relax while they’re off school for a few months. On Sundays we’ll continue to push ourselves spiritually, as we explore common obstacles believers face. This is no time to take a vacation from our faith, but it’s always good to slow our pace and embrace God’s grace in a fresh way. Aaron Bolduc Pastoral Staff, High School

In our summer teaching series we will explore some of the most common obstacles we face as believers, and we will learn how to live a more godly life, as well as be better witnesses to those around us.

Bible studies Bible Studies meet July 9-August 20, 10:30am-12:00pm Girls: Room 212 | Guys: Room 108 GIRLS’ BIBLE STUDY: MASTERPIECE Do you believe that you are God’s masterpiece? In Psalm 139:13 we are reminded God created our inmost being; He knit us together in our mother’s womb. Join us this summer as we dig deeper into how we live emotionally, physically and spiritually whole the way God created us to be. You are God’s Masterpiece! GUYS’ BIBLE STUDY Living in a culture where sex sells and modesty is mocked it may seem impossible to live a pure life before God. Thankfully, God has not left us alone. Join us this summer as we learn to live a life free from the grip of lust and trust in God to find victory in this ongoing battle.
