HSM McSummer 2013 Calvary Church High School Ministry Summer Events

Welcome To McSummer Living in a culture where everything is fast and conveniently at our fingertips, we don’t have to wait very long to satisfy our cravings. This summer we want to examine our “McCulture” through the lens of Scripture, and explore the subjects of friendship, the internet, social media, family, self-indulgence and consumerism. With the speed that our culture has evolved, it's necessary at times to slow down and reevaluate our priorities. Join us this summer as we examine the impact that our “McCulture” has on us and how it influences our relationships with Christ. “That we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, Godly and dignified in every way. This is good, and it is pleasing in the sight of God our Savior.” 1 Timothy 2:2b-3

how to register

Pre-registration is important. It ensures that we are able to feed you, transport you, and provide enough leaders to keep you safe! As a special incentive, we have a special McSummer Value Meal deal available to those who register way in advance (by June 5). See page 11 (to the right) for details. Option 1: Register online at mycalvarygr.org. If you have questions or problems with the site, email mycalvary@calvarygr.org. Option 2: Call our office at 956-9377, ext. 5181. Option 3: Email calvarystudents@calvarygr.org. Make sure your student has a parent-signed 2012-2013 year-long medical release form on file (available at calvarystudents.com), turns in the required cost or deposit of an event, and completes any extra paperwork indicated.

mcSummer value Meal A Deal not to be missed

Register for your summer events by June 5 and save 15% on each event.

McSummer Value meal

Summer is a wonderful, laid-back season. After a busy, hyper-scheduled school year, it's nice to relax and make limited plans. But summer passes so quickly that we can miss out on really good things, if we don't choose to be intentional with all that free time. In an effort to encourage you to plan ahead about how you're going to be involved in church this summer, we are offering an incentive to those who sign up for high school summer events by June 5. Advanced registration also helps us ensure that we are able to feed you, transport you, and provide enough leaders to keep you safe while you are at our events. Take advantage of the McSummer Value Meal by registering at MyCalvaryGR.org. Find the "High School McSummer 2013" event, then within this group, select the events you plan to attend and provide payment in full. As long as you sign-up on or before June 5, you will save 15% on each event you register for. (You must provide payment in full at registration in order to qualify for the value meal deal.) Questions? Contact Natalie in the Student Ministries Office at 956-9377, ext. 5181.

In case of bad weather, we will cancel the event two hours prior to arrival time. You can find details on calvarygr.org.
