Student Mission Trips | Summer 2013

We Believe

in serving and being used by God in various ways. Each summer we take students locally, across the country, and around the world as we partner with various ministries and missionaries to serve on missions trips. While we believe in the work and ministry that takes place on these trips, we also strongly believe that mission trips are a place of growth for students--spiritually, mentally, and emotionally. We’ll be taking students on trips to urban settings and have them interacting with kids, teenagers and adults in those communities as well as with students from other churches. They will be serving by doing work projects, leading kids clubs and sports camps, helping lead summer camps for teenagers, evangelizing and more. Team members will have unique opportunities to develop relationships as they prepare to go and serve.

Louisville is a community on the move, with major city amenities like worldclass performing arts, great shops and incredible dining. Louisville offers hospitality, warmth and smaller-city advantages like shorter commutes and a lower cost of living. Despite its progressive economic development, Louisville faces challenges of poverty and homelessness. Students will have the opportunity to shine the light of Jesus to struggling families through children’s ministries, serving the elderly and ministering to the homeless of this great city. $375 | july 6-12 25 Students | 5 Leaders Deposit: $50 (non-refundable) Application Deadline: MaRch 25 Mandatory Team Meetings: Lunch is provided and all meetings are in room 108. may 5, 12:30-2:00pm June 9, 12:30-2:00pm June 23, 12:30-2:00pm blog: Missions.calvarystudents.com
