Fight the Good Fight

I Timothy 6:12

5th-8th

welcome The Bible is full of people of strength. Strength demonstrated in some cool and unique ways. Join us this summer as we tackle these characters head on and discover together lessons learned from strong people of the Bible. Worship, fun games, crazy stories, and special guest speakers await us each week as we wrestle with what it means to be strong in a world full of our weaknesses. Take a moment to check out the exciting opportunities we have for middle school students this summer. You’ll find ministry opportunities for both 5th/6th and 7th/8th, so be sure to mark those calendars. If you find that you have additional questions, don’t hesitate to contact our Student Ministries Office (calvarystudents@calvarygr.org) at ext. 5181. We look forward to all God has in store for us this summer as we fight the good fight.

Bible studies 78

Wednesdays, July 17-August 21 10:30am-12:00pm Just show up, no need to register!

Girls: Room 207 | Cost: $9 (Includes a student workbook) Bring payment to first study. Scholarships available, contact the office. Get ready for good laughs and great discussion in this summer’s Bible Study! Yellow Roses is a series of videos about real girls, real life and real hope. The tactic of Satan is to deceive and mislead us, but Jesus said that the truth will indeed set us free. We will hang out, paint our nails and explore the truth found in God’s word about some of the pressures we face as girls trying to live for Jesus. Don’t miss out on a chance to make new friends and dig deeper into the Bible! (See yellowrosesfilm.com for more information)

Boys: Room 109 | Free There are many things in life that are like puzzles. We may have all the pieces but aren’t sure how they fit together. In Jr. High, I knew many things about the Bible, but was a bit fuzzy with the big picture. This Summer, 7th and 8th grade guys are welcome to join us as we play dodgeball, get to know each other and have a blast digging deep in to what the big picture of God’s word is all about. Don’t miss it!

How to register Pre-registration is important. It ensures that we are able to feed you, transport you, and provide enough leaders to keep you safe! As a special incentive to register early, we created a special deal for those who register way in advance. Sign-up for the summer events of your choice by June 10 and save 15% on each event. Take advantage of this deal by registering at MyCalvaryGR.org. Find the “Middle School Summer 2013 event, then within this group, select the events you plan to attend and provide payment in full. As long as you sign-up on or before June 10, you will save 15% on each event you register for. (You must provide payment in full at registration in order to qualify.) Questions? Contact Natalie in the Student Ministries Office at 956-9377, ext. 5181.
