Wine Tasting: Tocai Friulano Comes to the U.S. Join TIM KRAUSE ’81, wine expert and sales maven for Millbrook Winery, as he takes us to the Friuli region of northern Italy, recounting the tale of how this vastly popular Italian grape has immigrated to the U.S. Millbrook Winery, about 30 minutes from Hotchkiss, is one of only eight vineyards in the country to grow the Tocai Friulano varietal.

If you are walking from the main part of campus: Walk across the quad bordered by Memorial and Weiler (formerly the walk on Route 41. After crossing 41, the sidewalk splits – continue to the right and follow the walk directly to the lower level of Monahan. Signs will be posted along the way to assist you. If you are driving: Take a left out of the Main Gate onto Route 112 East. At the four-way stop at the corner of campus, continue on 112 (you will be driving away from the main part of campus). Monahan is the second building on your left. Continue past Monahan and take the next major driveway on your left marked by the sign “Mars Athletic Center.” Follow parking lot of the Athletic Center. There is a walkway that leads from the back corner (on the Route 112 side) of the Athletic Center to the lower level of Monahan. Signs will be posted along the way to assist you. If you require handicapped parking, there will be a security guard outside Monahan on Route 112 to assist you.
