FRINGE WORLD (20 January - 19 February) FRINGE WORLD is a massively popular annual festival held in Perth and enjoyed by hundreds of thousands of people. This is the third largest Fringe on the planet, featuring over 430 shows with everything from cabaret and comedy to music, theatre and circus, at numerous venues all over the metropolitan area. PERTH FESTIVAL (10 FEBRUARY - 5 MARCH) Founded in 1953, in 2023 the festival will celebrate 70 years as Australia’s longest-running arts festival, showcasing Perth, its people and its culture on the shores of the Derbarl Yerrigan (Swan River). Grounded on Noongar Boodjar, it is uniquely placed to celebrate the oldest living culture in the world by championing rich indigenous traditions and contemporary arts practice. SOUTH WEST CRAFT BEER FESTIVAL (25 February) The South West Craft Beer Festival is the perfect opportunity to sip and savour the best golden nectar the South West has to offer, from Mandurah all the way down to Denmark. The festival will showcase more than 150 refreshing local brews, including an assortment of one-off and limited edition beers. Brewers and beer-lovers will gather together to sample these fine brews, along with enticing cuisine and groovy local beats. See February Dates for PERTH FESTIVAL (10 February - 5 March) NANNUP MUSIC FESTIVAL (3 - 6 March) The Nannup Music Festival presents an eclectic mix of acts over the first weekend of March each year, set to the stunning bush backdrop of Australia’s South West and the small town atmosphere of Nannup. The community-spirited event, produced by a dedicated team from the non profit Nannup Music Club Inc, has been running since 1989 and has consistently proven to be one of the most welcoming and much anticipated events in WA’s music calendar.
