The DELF (Diplôme Elémentaire de Langue Française / Diploma in French language) is a series of examinations aimed at Primary and Secondary school students who either learn French as a second language or for French native speakers living outside of France. Camberwell Grammar School and Camberwell Girls Grammar School are working, together with the Alliance Française de Melbourne, to provide a course that supports the preparation for the DELF Junior exams. These classes will be run by teachers from the Alliance Française de Melbourne throughout Term 3 from 3.45pm to 5.15pm on Tuesdays. The classes will not provide general tutoring in French but will focus on the methodology of French DELF exams. •

Cost: $415 (includes tuition fee, handouts and textbook). Please note the exam fee is not included.

The final exam will take place in October. Registration for the exam will be made through Alliance Française later in the year.

We recommend the following for the 4 levels of DELF Junior: DELF A1 for Y7 and Y8 students, DELF A2 for year 9 and Y10 students, DELF B1/B2 for Y11 and Y12 students. We understand that some students might have followed a different curriculum, if this is the case or if you are unsure of your level, please let us know and we will be happy to provide the student with an oral assessment to determine the right DELF level exam.

Cancellations prior the course commencement date will incur a $50 cancellation fee. A minimum of eight students is required per class with a maximum of sixteen.
