Jonathan Noble

Christopher Hartney has been a lecturer at the University of Sydney in the Department of Studies of Religion since 2006. Christopher is a specialist in Asian religions and wrote his doctoral thesis on Caodaism, a new religion that began in Vietnam in the 1920s. He has over 50 scholarly articles to his name.

Jonathan Noble has taught Studies of Religion for the past 25 years. Jon has been the Religious Studies Coordinator at St Francis Xavier’s College in Newcastle and is a former member of the Association for the Studies of Religion Committee, serving as Chairman from 2006 to 2008. He is an experienced HSC teacher and has presented at a number of workshops for teachers and students.
