In the heart of the city of Cambridge, in one of the most historic civic buildings lie The Guildhall, from the Large Hall which is perfect for family occasions, to the Small Hall for the more intimate gatherings we have the perfect setting for you.

The beautiful balcony area is just one of several unique and stylish settings for wedding photographs with iconic Kings College and the River Cam a few minutes’ walk away.
You are unique and individual and we believe your wedding should reflect this. We can create a bespoke wedding day to meet your own wishes. Your personal wedding coordinator will be with you every step of the way, and can assist you with your ideas and themes to best suit your guests. The friendly and professional wedding team will ensure that all your wishes and dreams do come true, taking care of every last detail leaving you to enjoy your day. They can also suggest and assist with wedding photographers, cake bakers, florists, entertainment and transport. They have access to a large selection of suppliers. A full list of suppliers can be found at the back of the brochure.
We do Fully licensed to conduct civil ceremonies and partnerships, you can exchange vows and have your wedding reception within this historic building. The service can be followed by a champagne reception held in the scenic balcony area.
The Large Hall The charming Large Hall can welcome up to 280 guests for the wedding breakfast, in the evening there is a large dance floor, private bar for a further 120 guests to enjoy a disco or live band.
The Small Hall The small Hall holds up to 100 of your guests for a wedding breakfast, and is full of natural light from the large windows and is ideal for a more intimate occasion.
Remember: You will need to contact the Cambridge Registrar office on 0345 045 1363 and that the Registrar’s fee is not included in any of the prices quoted by the Guildhall Cambridge.

Our chefs are on hand to discuss your precise menu requirements with you, from that special dish to an old favourite we can deliver a wide selection of food, champagne, fine wines and beverages to cater for all tastes and dietary requirements. Most of our food is locally sourced and where possible farm fresh and organic.

If you’re not sure which room will suit your wedding party and guests your wedding co-ordinator will be able to assist, to help create your perfect day. They can also recommend the best wedding package for you, and will be with you from your initial enquiry right through to your big day leaving you to relax and have a carefree day.
We now pronounce The Guildhalls, are nestled within the beautiful city centre of Cambridge. Known for its many colleges, the city has the edge when it comes to architecture, history and culture. From its wide open spaces, green lush parks, winding medieval streets to punting down the River Cam, Cambridge is the most stylish of cities.

From the North
From the M1 and M6 take the A14 East until it becomes the M11 just north of Cambridge. Exit M11 southbound at junction 12 following the A603 (Barton Road) and signs for the city centre. At the first major roundabout you come to take the second exit (Fen Causeway, A1134) and when you reach the end of this road, take a left onto Trumpington Street, Turn right onto Pembroke Street, then turn left onto Corn Exchange Street signposted parking Grand Arcade. You may park in the Grand Arcade car park and make your way by foot to The Guildhall. From the South From the M11 northbound, exit at Junction 11, following the A1309 (which becomes the A1134) towards the city centre. After about three miles at the first major junction you come to, continue straight ahead onto Trumpington Street. Turn right onto Pembroke Street, then turn left onto Corn Exchange Street signposted parking Grand Arcade. You may park in the Grand Arcade car park and make your way by foot to The Guildhall.
