Welcome Welcome to our guide to Camden Adult Community Learning’s courses Inside this guide you will find a wide range of courses and opportunities for learning as an adult student. Adult learning is a great tool for self-improvement and self-betterment and has been changing lives in Camden since the 19th Century. We continue to offer opportunities for people to learn and progress but importantly we also offer impartial advice to help you decide how best to proceed in your journey into learning whether with us or elsewhere. As adult education professionals, we are aware of the challenges that come with engaging with learning as an adult and we try our best to help those who learn with us to overcome their challenges. What is also important to us is the sense of mutual respect and community that comes with our classes. Camden ACL also prioritises the health and wellbeing of all of its students. All of our programmes, no matter what the subject is, incorporate learning that helps support our student’s wellbeing. Importantly, we also believe that you are either never too young or too old to learn. We have both babies and people over 100 years old in our classes. We wish you the best of luck in which ever course you decide to do with us or with another learning provider. Mark Isherwood Head of Adult Community Learning
