I hope those who’ve been on half-term this week have found something to get up to in Camden. With much of the borough reopening, there’s lots to get involved with as we look forward to the summer, from visiting our amazing high streets to taking part in COVIDsecure activities, such as the annual Camden Summer University, which you can read more about below. As the weather is finally warming up and people are getting more out and about, I’d encourage everyone to make regular rapid lateral flow testing part of their weekly routine. You can pick up tests or have them delivered to you and get results in 30 to 45 minutes. It’s an important way to make sure you’re keeping those around you safe as 1 in 3 people who have COVID-19 don’t have symptoms. Finally, June is Pride month and I want to encourage everyone to get involved in events going on around the borough to celebrate and support Camden’s LGBTQI+ communities. Councillor Georgia Gould, Leader of Camden Council
