The U.S. National Toboggan Championships is the only organized wooden toboggan race in the country and possibly the world. Sleds race down the 400 ft. chute onto the frozen Hosmer Pond every year in February.

Whether you are an expert skier or just beginning, the two chairlifts and magic carpet help accommodate your level of comfort. Need a lesson? The Snow Bowl offers daily group or private lessons. There’s also night skiing which is fun!

H iking Trails, Mountain Biking, Chairlift Rides (October) Tennis Courts, Sports Field & Swimming
The mountain bike trails on Ragged Mountain are fantastic - there’s also a pump track. Public access to the pond is easily accessable for launching small boats (no engines, please) and the mini dock provides a place to take a swim. Come fall, you won’t want to miss the foliage, which is also incredible from the chairlift rides offered every sunday during October.
