PALAZZO
FRANCESCO TURATI
BRIEF HISTORICAL NOTES
Milano rediscovers an historical building with its original beauty, completely furbished and wisely restored. Palazzo Francesco Turati, in Via Meravigli 7, was built between 1873 and 1876 on the behalf of Count Francesco Turati, one of the main representative of the Lombard cotton industry. Commissioned by the Count, the engineer and architect Enrico Combi built and designed this wonderful Neo-Renaissance Palace, right in the heart of the city, just a few steps from Milan Cathedral. The Chamber of Commerce of Milan leases Palazzo Francesco Turati’s indoor and outdoor spaces to both public and private bodies, who seek to realise exhibitions, showrooms of collections and products, photographic services, film or advertising sets. An appealing and suggestive location, Palazzo Francesco Turati is perfect for hosting business meetings, launch of new products, fashion shows, theatrical and musical performances and workshops.
COURTYARD AND COLONNADE
A mosaic quadrangle, relaxed and quiet, a great location for open-air performances, fashion shows and art exhibitions.
SALE NOBILI
Recently restored, the “Sale Nobili” are among the most fascinating indoor spaces of the Palace. The “Sale Nobili” are represented by three adjoined Rooms with separate entrance: Sala della Musica, Sala del Prometeo and Salotto Azzurro. Final recipients may enjoy simultaneously the Rooms and the related facilities.

SALOTTO AZZURRO
Refined and precious, the Salotto Azzurro contrived and decorated, as you may be able to see above the golden wall mirror where the word “Perfectum MDCCCLXXXV stands out, in 1885 by Pogliaghi. The walls are papered with light-blue velvet with silk and satin decoration and delicate boiseries frame doorways and windows.
