Dear photographers,
New year, new opportunities, new ideas. We present to you the latest issue of WE INSPIRE magazine. Each magazine brings a lot of new experiences, new acquaintances. We discover new talents. Photography now accompanies us every day. Mobile photography is becoming more and more popular. Smartphones are getting closer and closer in quality to professional equipment. In our airspace, more and more drones are taking photos and videos. We can observe our land from a different perspective. Sometimes I get the impression that thanks to this the earth has shrunk a bit. Thus, we are inundated with hundreds of thousands of photos every day on social networks. We photograph more, we publish more. Thousands of stimuli awaken our creative view of reality. We expect the same from each of our issues. INSPIRATION. Happy reading.

ANETTA G. HELLER EXECUTIVE EDITORHello our fellow photographers, readers, friends and future members.
I would like to inform all readers that we have managed to implement a new system for browsing online magazines. Popularly known as flipbook should provide you with greater impressions and pleasure. The quality of published photos will not be affected by special compression, which will result in better quality photos. This year we are planning a few more significant changes on the website and changes in the production of templates.
This flipbook will allow us to better implement the photographic portfolio in the profiles of online photographers and to create ready-made templates of photo books and reports that our members will be able to publish.
We are also planning changes in navigation and the release of special templates for photo magazines to make them available to those photographers who want to publish their own photo magazines on the camerapixopress.com website.
ARTUR J. HELLER EDITOR-INCHIEFCAMERAPIXO PHOTOVIDEO MAGAZINE is recognized around the world as one of the largest independent online photo-video magazines. Thanks to the variety of it’s publications and a diverse network of other journalists and media professionals makes it easy to start working as an independent contributor.

The Camerapixo Press ID Card proved to be the perfect solution for me. For 10 years now I am the holder of the card and for 10 years I was on the first line of fire. Camerapixo Press ID Card is not just a pretty piece of plastic as some believe. This is also a sense of belonging to the group of outstanding photographers from around the world. Camerapixo Press ID Card gives me confidence in crisis situations, such as demonstrations and riots, where I often have to deal with the police and a hostile crowd of people. Knowing that I’m not an anonymous photographer but member of the Camerapixo gives me motivation to work better and with continuous improvement. It is also a commitment to follow the photojournalist Code of Ethics.
PL | CRACOW, POLANDAs a child I already had a small camera, nothing fancy. Just point and shoot, in the analog time. So a lot of failed photos. It always had my interest. When we did go on holiday with the family, there were always camera’s. After the holiday we did watch photos together as a family. When I met my husband, he was also into camera’s. Nothing professional but I always brought his camera. That was the first time I used a digital camera. After that the first DLSR came in the house, because we were both interested. I wanted to learn more and did a beginners course. After that things did got more serious. I did became more fanatic. From a hobby it transfered in a real passion and part of life. In the beginning I did al kinds of photography, but I grew into the landscape direction. I still love to shoot landscapes and I think there is still so much to learn. That makes photography always interesting. There is more to learn and the circumstances are never the same.
That is for sure photography! In my youth (and later) I did gymnastics. That was my passion back than. When I was doing gymnastics I did not think about anything else. A way of escaping daily stress and problems. Now, photography take in that place. I can really forget about the time when photographing. Just being outside, doing my thing. Just love that moments. So I have several places nearby to go to. Been there so many times, but it is always good to be there and try to capture new footage.
That is definitely my wide angle. The Nikon S 14-30 f/4. That lens is on my camera 90% of the time. I like to shoot wide, give the sky more drama with it. And it challenges me to search for compositions another person won’t see. Like little structures on the beach. You have to search for compositions in a different way. Next to that I also switch to other lenses, Even more wide angle (10-18 on full frame), but also zoom lenses like 100-400.
My favourite place for photography is at the beach. I live on a island (not a real island anymore), but surrounded with a lot of water. So water is an important theme for my photography. I like to photography at sea in all different circumstances, but I prefer low tide (there are more structures), when there is no wind (photograph with reflection on the water) and stormy days (playing with the dynamic of the waves). I think it is good to have a to go to place. That way you can photograph it in the best circumstances, but it also challenges you everytime to make something new. You really have to search the good light and interesting compositions. That makes your photography better. The beach is also not a very easy place to photograph. There is a lot of nothing. :-) You have to search for compositions and be creative.
What is your favourite way to de-stress?
How did you start with photography?
Where is your favourite place to shoot?
Do you have a favorite walk around lens... If so what is it?
Since I photograph a lot at sea, I work a lot with ND filters. They give me more possibilities to be creative and create something different. Something you don’t see while looking at it in real life, but you can only capture with a camera because of the long exposure. I like long exposures, to make everything soft and more minimalistic but also short long exposures, like 1 second. With that I play with the dynamics of the waves.
It is an important part for me. First of all, I photograph in RAW. So post processing is necessary. The camera is still not able to capture things the way we see them with our eyes. Like dynamic range or field of depth. So that are examples I compensate in post processing to make it the way we see it. I also like to be active with post processing. For me it is a part of photography, creating a photo the way I like.
The most important thing, don’t aim to high in a short period. Becoming better takes time and that is part of the proces. When pushing yourself to hard it obstructs your creativity and the fun and relaxed part of photography. If you say to yourself you do want to become the best it will become frustrating very easily. The chance that you will be the best is almost null. The most important thing is to enjoy the process and the learning curve. And just see were it brings you while doing the best you can and will.
I try to make choices when going out for photography. Otherwise it is to heavy. I photograph with a Nikon Z7.
The lenses I use:
- Laowa 12 mm f/2.8
- Laowa 10-18 mm
- NIkon 14-30 f/4
- Nikon 24-200
- Tamron 24-70 f/2.8
- Sigma 70-200 f/2.8
- Sigma 100 - 400
Next to that I use a Sirui ST-124 or W-2204 tripod. They are weather proof, so no problem to use them on sand and in the water. That is very important for me.
ND filters en gradual filters are also a important part. I use the magnetic Kase Armour system.
And as least I always photograph with a drone, the DJ Mavic Pro 3.

© ELLEN VAN DEN DOELFor 7 years I was engaged in criminal journalism in Ukraine: investigations in the field of politics and finance. Then came the global financial crisis of 2008-2009. It so happened that in addition to the crisis, I also broke my spine, I had a concussion. All these reasons made me really think about what I do and how I live. And lying on the bed, while my body healed, I realized that I need to do what I love most of all. I made photos only for myself. in journalism I was a writing journalist. I didn’t take pictures.. And then I left journalism and started trying to take pictures.
I’m sorry, but... Until February 24, I thought that I had problems and challenges. But after February 24, I realized that I had a quiet life. I met the war early in the morning in the forest - I saw a bomb explosion in the predawn sky. I was alone. And after that I still have February. There was no spring, there was no summer. It’s still February. I do not wish anyone, even an enemy, to see the war with my own eyes. See how the bombs go off. Despite all the horror, I did not want to leave my country for a long time. I love my country very much. But now, I am without a home, without my friends. All my team, all my friends are scattered all over the world. And when I read how my country is being bombed, I feel as if my body is being cut. So yes, this is the most powerful test.
Photography is like a child. If he/she came into your life, and if you love him (photo or child), your life will never be the same (smile). Like I said before, I started taking photographs during the period of the huge financial crisis in the world: 2008-2009. In Ukraine, things were incredibly deplorable. And in my life too. But photography helped me to love this world again. Get back on your feet both mentally and financially. Not religion will save the world, but ART! Art is that subtle matter, like a child’s smile, like a warm sea breeze that brings you back to yourself. Photography - has become the goal of life, and love for life. I have always loved taking pictures, but thanks to the strong crisis and all the problems that I realized there is nothing more to lose and you need to do what you love most of all. As one wise man said: “All paths are the same: they lead nowhere. Does this path have a heart? If there is, then this is a good way; if not, then it’s useless. One way gives you strength, the other destroys you”.
The strongest knowledge in photography was given to me by my teacher Kostin Igor Fedorovich. He is the most talented photographer. We met him on the day of the most important exam at my university, when I was studying to be a journalist. At the department I was told about such a legend and I really asked for a meeting with him. When we met, he completely smashed all my work with his criticism and said that if I will cry, I will never study with him again. He had a very tough and demanding nature. He didn’t teach me technique, he taught me to see the frame. I studied with him for a year.It was not an official communication, we just met in the hall of the House of Artists and he gave recommendations and his comments on my photographs. After, for the sake of interest, I went to the official advanced training courses for television and radio workers. And I got an official diploma. But this knowledge did not affect me in any way. The technical aspects, the visual language of photography: composition, rhythm, lines, geometric shapes - I studied all this myself.

My biggest inspiration is women. They are incredible! Strong and very fragile at the same time. Feminine and militant. Wise and light. Sincere. I love women - Personalities. Their soul, their character. My photography is not about the female body, my photography is about the female Spirit. About strength and resilience. About the beauty of the heart. Each person is a book for me, and it is interesting for me to read it. I love the vibrant real skin on a woman’s face, the lines around her eyes that tell her story. I like a living body, without dogmas and rules of marketers. Love their true beauty. I love kimono art. And once I was at a kimono exhibition in Ukraine. For young girls, kimonos have always been created bright, colorful: with peonies, maple leaves. And for married women, a completely black kimono was created. And inside the kimono, from the knees to the feet, there was a drawing that only she and her husband knew about. That’s inspiration for me - that female Power that is inside a person, not about showcase beauty.
I think it’s very easy to want to make photos of public figures, because they are popular in full view, and like to be photographed. They are aware of their position when photographed. But most of all I like people who are not popular and not famous, those who protect their inner world. They create harmony around themselves, work hard, develop in their business, and are not telling about the good they have done. Public people have a lot of masks on their faces, and sometimes they themselves no longer know where the mask is, and where their real face is. I like real people, with a spark in the heart. And more often than - 99.9% of them are not popular. They do not want to expose their emotions, their personal lives to the public. Their calmness, silence, harmony.
My favorite photographer is Fan Ho. He is amazing! Self-taught who left an incredible legacy! His sense of composition is impressive. Of course, Henri Cartier-Bresson is also a genius! I also love Peter Linberg`s works. People often compared me to him, We both love women`s natural beauty and their history of life in eyes.
Listen to yourself. Don’t copy anyone. First of all, be demanding of yourself. Don’t settle for mediocrity. Even if you are incredibly talented, you need to work very hard: after all, there is a well-known formula for success - 1% talent, and 99% hard work. But the most important thing is to enjoy your creativity, then all difficulties can be overcome.
