Welcome

2018 Cincinnati Ingathering Conference

W

e are delighted you have chosen to gather with us and believe that your being with us is not accidental or insignificant, but is a divine appointment. We pray our time together will be full of abundant blessing for you. That you will be blessed through an encounter with God as He meets with you here in worship and through the Word and that He releases revelation to you that encourages, strengthens, establishes, prepares, positions, and propels you in your purpose and destiny. Although we refer to our gathering as a conference, we invite you to join with us in allowing God to redefine what that looks like. We believe God has called this assembly as a “con-ferrence”. To confer does mean to “consult, speak, have discussions or exchange”, but it also means, “to grant or bestow, to give, extend to, or endow with”. It is our prayer and expectation that God has called us here to hear from Him and that He will both confer with us, as well as bestow

and endow us with an impartation of grace and ability that is tangible and life changing. Why “Ingathering”? For us that is not a general or generic term, but one of specific significance. It is a description of the divine purpose identified with our assembling and declares the association with important symbolic and prophetic scriptures. Throughout scripture the importance of “times & seasons” is continually emphasized. Everything God does is in specific, pre-ordained times & seasons. (Ecc 3:1-To everything there is a season, A time for every purpose under heaven). Therefore, we endeavor to discern and align ourselves with the divine timing and purposes of God like the sons of Issachar did (1 Chron 12:32). As believers we are appointed (Jn 15:16). The timing of the manifestation of the vision God gives us is appointed (Hab 2:2) and God even prescribes various appointed meeting times. The Sabbath, (Ex 20:8) Holy Convocations, (Num 29:1) and times of refreshing (Acts 3:19 &20). The Feasts (Holy Convocations) we see observed throughout the Old & New Testament were appointed times of assembly. They began in the first month, (Passover, Unleavened Bread, First Fruits) reoccurred in the third month, (Pentecost) and concluded in the seventh month (Trumpets, Atonement & Tabernacles). All these, patterns and shadows pointing to Christ, who is the substance and fulfillment of each (Heb 8:5, & 9:9). These appointed times occurred and were fulfilled historically, but as New Covenant believers we get the opportunity for them to become full in us, spiritually, experientially and practically. Much of what we read and see in the scriptures is connected to what the feasts foreshadowed. Christ as the Passover Lamb and our Atonement. Christ as First Fruits and the outpouring of The Holy Spirit on Pentecost. But, what of Tabernacles? What was it that Tabernacles pointed to ? Another name for the Feast of Tabernacles was

the FEAST OF INGATHERING. In its historical context, it was the closing of the year and the time of final fruit harvest. (Ex 23:16) God sent the early rains and the latter rain to ensure the crop. After the harvest, in celebration, the people of God were to come away and dwell (Tabernacle) for 7 days in booths. It was known as “the feast of feasts”. What it prophetically pointed to is what the body of Christ has been awaiting since Christ’s ascension. The great outpouring of the Holy Spirit in the last days, the greatest harvest of souls ever known and the final appearing of Christ to Tabernacle with His people. So expectantly we assemble, observing divine seasons and divine timing. Coming together each fall during the appointed time of Israel’s Ingathering, for an Ingathering of The Church. Looking & praying for the outpouring that the prophet Joel prophesied about, “that He would pour out His Spirit on all flesh” again. (Joel 2:28&29). That He would send the “former rains and the latter rain”. (Joel 2:23) So we come together in this appointed time and “ask for rain, in the time of rain” (Zech 10:1). That we would experience an increase in the manifest presence of God that would release the rain. (Psa 68:8) That His Word would “drop like rain”. (Deut 32:2) Knowing that the early rain established the first crop, but the latter rain will bring a great harvest and bring believers to maturity and ensure fruit. Again, we thank you for assembling with us for this annual time of Ingathering as we prepare and position ourselves for His appointed time of Tabernacling with His people.

T

he Vision for this covenant church family is to colabor with God to see that individuals, families, ethnic groups and communities: understand and experience

the love of God as revealed and demonstrated in Jesus Christ; be set free, transformed and enabled by the power of the Holy Spirit to discover their God ordained history, identity, purpose and destiny and to be equipped and released to walk in vision, reveal the Glory of the Father and advance the Kingdom of God.

A Holy Nation

T

he theme for this year’s conference is, “Holy Nation”, and is based upon 1 Peter 2:9 & 10- “But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; 10 who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy”. This is such an important time in history and scripture for us as the people of God. It undergirds and realigns us regarding our understanding of identity. The two key words in this scripture “Holy” and “Nation” declare both who we are and how we are to be. According to Strong’s the word “holy” in this scripture comes from the Greek word, “hagios” which means “sacred” or “consecrated”. The word “nation” is the Greek word “ethnos” and means “race”, “tribe” or “people”. The correct understanding of these words have the power to bring real transformation to the Church and to shift our perception of who we are and unite us. This scripture determines us to be a people that have been specifically dedicated to the Lord, set apart and consecrated to His Kingdom. It declares us to be a nation of our own. A people redeemed from every tribe, tongue, people and ethnic group. We are a new ethnic. His Holy Nation. No other sense of identity now supersedes it and no other associations or allegiances may override it. In this new multi-hued ethnic there is no accommodation for division or separation. It exists to bear witness to and declare something new. It cannot allow division by race, economic status, political affiliation or ideology. We are a Holy Nation. A Consecrated Ethnic. A Chosen Generation. This is a critical time in history and these United States desperately need to see that now, more than ever before. This is a call for us to arise Holy Nation and “proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.” This is a kairos moment. It is due season. It is our time.
