It’s our 3rd birthday on the 1st of October!

Allan Real Estate has been operating for three years and during this time there have been many changes and improvements made. History will show that we started up the new business in the year that the COVID-19 pandemic hit Australia! What were we thinking?! Thankfully, it’s been a wonderful business decision

Spring is coming! We are sure you are as excited as we are, to have a little warmer weather. This is a perfect time to tackle all the cleaning tasks you have been putting off for weeks. Even though you aren’t the owner of the house you live in, it is still your responsibility to keep it clean. Spring is a perfect time to take the opportunity to deep clean the house at least once a year.

Daily Tasks: Tidy any personal items throughout your space, vacuum carpets, and sweep kitchen and bathroom floors.

Dust: Work from the top-down, starting at the ceiling taking time to clean hard-to-reach spots that may be missed in the day-to-day cleaning Use an extendable duster to tackle any cobwebs or dust on ceiling fan blades and any crown moulding

Clean Walls: Use a sponge and clear soap (avoid any dyed soap that could cause staining to light-coloured walls or take the colour from the wall) with a small amount of water to do the trick. Using a product like the magic eraser should remove most scuff marks also.

Wash Window Screens & Sill: You may clean your window glass until it sparkles, but often the screen and sill get left out

Vacuum Low-traffic Areas: While ideally, you will be vacuuming lowtraffic areas regularly, places like under furniture, the floors of closets, and other hard-to-reach spots are excellent candidates for spring cleaning. Move out furniture and items from closets to ensure that every area in your house is free from accumulating dust and allergens

Kitchen Exhaust Fans: Remove the outer cover and wash it in a warm solution of washing-up liquid.

Clean Carpets: A good carpet cleaning once or so a year, is a great way to maintain the cleanliness of your living space, and will ensure that your home stays fresh and eliminate many household allergens

Garden Maintenance: Remove weeds, fallen leaves and debris while the soil is still soft. Add a layer of mulch around your plants to help retain moisture and suppress weeds. Adjust your watering schedule as the weather warms up. Edge garden beds and the lawn to give them a clean defined look.
