Browse this section of the guide to see the many dining locations we have to offer. Remember, all locations accept some form of the meal plan. Just look for the icons to see the accepted forms of payment for each venue.

DINING HALLS

Our three all-you-care-to-eat dining hall locations are community hubs for students living on campus. With a single dining hall swipe, you can eat as much or as little as you like, meet for group projects over a cone of Howling Cow or hang out between classes with a cup of coffee in our lounge and entertainment space at Fountain. We also host themed lunches and dinners throughout the year with special menus to keep your taste buds satisfied.

ALLACCESS PASS

The Dining Hall, Flex and Flex Plus plans come with an all-access pass to our dining halls. With these plans, you can come and go when you’re hungry and enjoy a full meal or light snack as often as you like throughout the semester.

Our culinary team provides you with an extensive selection of homestyle entrées and sides, fresh salads and fruit, custom-made wraps, hot grill items and more. Menus change daily, and we offer weekly specials ranging from made-to-order sauté dishes to global favorites.

On the go? Try Pack&Go! Our dining hall take-out program allows you to fill a reusable, recyclable container with your favorite menu items and take it with you. There’s no rush to return the container; bring it back to us when you’re finished, and we’ll hand you a clean one or a token for your next take-out meal.

TALLEY STUDENT UNION

Talley Student Union has an exciting lineup of dining options for every palate. From classic American diner fare to sweet treats and global cuisine, there’s something fresh and delicious for everyone. WHAT’S INSIDE

Jason’s Deli | Fresh signature sandwiches, salads and wraps made from premium, natural ingredients.

Red Sky Pizza Company | New York-style pizza baked in a fire-deck oven and served by the slice. Featuring house-made dough and fresh toppings, plus crisp salads and cannolis.

Los Lobos Mexican Grill | Made-to-order tacos, burritos, quesadillas and nachos. House-made salsa and chips with a variety of fresh Mexican side dishes.

Tuffy’s Diner | Burgers, grilled chicken, BLT sandwiches and more. Tuffy’s also serves waffles, breakfast sandwiches and sides.

Talley Market | Howling Cow ice cream, Yates Mill Bakery goods, marketplace snacks, and grab-and-go meals. Items available to meet many dietary restrictions. More on page 13.

One Earth World Cuisine | Enjoy dishes from around the world: global bowls and wraps, freshly-rolled sushi, stir-fry dishes and a create-your-own salad bar.

Starbucks | A full-service café serving its signature beverages, freshly brewed coffees, pastries and sandwiches.

Port City Java | One of six locations at NC State offering locally roasted coffee, sandwiches, smoothies and baked goods. More on page 12.

1887 Bistro | A full-service restaurant serving signature salads, flatbreads, sandwiches, entrées and desserts. Open for lunch and late-night service.

ATRIUM FOOD COURT

Located adjacent to the Brickyard on the lower level of Hill Library, this hot spot features a variety of options geared toward today’s college student. With early morning and nighttime hours, the Atrium is a go-to for a quick bite between classes or dinner with friends. *

Brickyard Pizza and Pasta | House-made personal pizzas, flatbread sandwiches, calzones and a rotating menu of tasty pasta dishes.

Zen Blossom | Freshly rolled sushi, egg rolls and a variety of chef-inspired stir-fry creations.

Delirious Wraps and Salads | Delicious salads and wraps. Customize your own with a variety of toppings and dressings.

Wolfpack-to-Go | A healthy selection of grab-and-go sandwiches, salads, wraps, parfaits and snacks made fresh daily.

Smoothie U | A variety of made-to-order yogurt-based, juice-based and Sambazon smoothies. The açaí bowls with assorted toppings and bubble tea are a must-try.

ON THE OVAL centennial food hall

Located across from the world-renowned Hunt Library, On the Oval is the gathering spot on Centennial Campus to relax and refuel from sunrise to well past sundown. WHAT’S INSIDE

Cold Fusion Deli | Sandwiches and wraps made with fresh breads, choice meats and cheeses.

Cold Fusion Salad Bar | Self-service salad bar stocked with all your favorite ingredients so you can customize your salad to your liking.

Fahrenheit Pizza | Artisan pizzas and calzones baked fresh in our fire-deck oven.

Fahrenheit Entrées | A four-week daily rotating selection of homestyle entrées and complementary side dishes.

Flashpoint Global | A rotation of authentic global cuisine featuring Chinese, Greek, Indian, Italian, Thai and Latin American flavors.

Newton’s Grill | Sandwiches and signature grill specials, including Angus beef burgers, chicken sandwiches, fries and tater tots.

Gravity Café | Features a separate seating area that keeps the café open for early morning, late-night and weekend service.

Gravity Breakfast | Made-to-order breakfast sandwiches, burritos and more to help you start your day right.

Gravity Dinner + Late Night | Entrees, salads, stir-fries and more, including a selection of vegan and vegetarian options.

Oval Grab and Go | Skip the lines! Choose from our premade specialty sandwiches, salads, snacks and desserts.

THE TERRACE at lonnie poole golf course

The Terrace is off the beaten path but well worth the trip. Located inside the clubhouse at the Lonnie Poole Golf Course, the Terrace is open daily for lunch and afternoon with a fare of appetizers, burgers, sandwiches, salads and more.

Weekends are special at the Terrace, with a brunch you won’t want to miss during your time at NC State. Carved meats, omelettes, buttery biscuits, bacon and more, plus a wide selection of house-made desserts. Come with your friends (it’s a short walk from the Hunt Library), or make a weekend visit with family members extra special.

The Terrace has indoor and outdoor seating under the veranda or on the firepit patio. Plus, you can take in a sweeping view of the golf course, Centennial Campus and the Raleigh skyline.

We offer special brunch and meal options here for Parents and Families Weekend and graduation. Keep an eye out for details!

STATE CLUB RESTAURANT at the park alumni center

Just across the street from the Lonnie Poole Golf Course and next to the StateView Hotel, the State Club Restaurant offers all the panache an emerging young professional enjoys without the high cost. In fact, you can use a meal credit or dining dollars to dine!

It’s located inside the Park Alumni Center, which is worth the visit alone.

The State Club Restaurant is open weekdays, from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. and features a selection of gourmet soups, salads, sandwiches, entrees and desserts that are delicious and affordable.

Keep an eye out for special events and limited-time offers throughout the year. Graduation reservations fill up quickly each fall and spring, so be sure to book yours early.

VENDING

NC State Dining is pleased to offer more than 200 soft drink machines and 80 snack machines across campus. Most are equipped with card readers that enable you to use dining dollars or All Campus to purchase drinks and snacks.

CONVENIENCE STORES

Our six convenience stores — or C-Stores for short — are here when you need something quick, including fresh sandwiches and wraps, snacks, drinks, heat-and-eat meals and more. We also carry grocery staples like bread and milk, as well as other necessities like shampoo, toothpaste and laundry detergent.

YATES MILL BAKERY

Yates Mill Bakery, located in Talley Market, offers a variety of sweet treats made fresh daily by our award-winning bakery team. Check out our cheesecake, cupcakes and cookies. Yum!
