From your rehearsal dinner to the final send-off, Rave! Events at NC State is delighted to collaborate with you on every detail of your most cherished celebrations. At both the Park Alumni Center and Lonnie Poole Golf Course our team of experienced planners, chefs and wedding professionals will guide you through the preparation process and day-of arrangements for your event so you can focus on enjoying your special occasion.

FACILITY RENTALS Venue rental fee is based on a four-hour event duration for receptions and rehearsal dinners. The Park Alumni Center can either host your reception or your ceremony and reception while Lonnie Poole Golf Course is equipped to host rehearsal dinners. Pricing below depicts the cost for either a rehearsal dinner or reception and does not include ceremony rental fees.

VENUE RENTALS Whether you envision an indoor or outdoor ceremony, Rave! Hosting your ceremony will provide one additional hour to your total reservation time.

OUTDOOR ACCOMMODATIONS Our outdoor options will include a weather backup location, white garden or mahagony chairs, and a rehearsal practice site on the day prior to the ceremony. The outdoor backup location for the Park Alumni Center is located on the second floor in the Chancellor's Reception room and seats 100 guests at maximum capacity.

CEREMONY REHEARSAL Rehearsals may be scheduled around other events in available space. While every effort will be made to provide the exact ceremony space for your rehearsal; it is not guaranteed. Rehearsals are restricted to one hour and must begin at the scheduled time.

DRESSING FOR THE CEREMONY Bride and groom suites will be made available for the wedding party beginning three hours before the ceremony. If you are having your ceremony at the Park Alumni Center, separate rooms will be provided for your wedding party to dress and prepare on the third floor. No outside alcohol is permitted in the bride or groom suites, however, if you are interested in adding a beer and wine package please speak to your sales coordinator. Soda and water will be provided for refreshment.

Each rehearsal dinner package is based on a three-hour event, one cocktail hour plus two hours for dinner and toasting. All Rave! CHILDREN'S MENUS Children are always welcome at the Park Alumni Center and Lonnie Poole Golf Course. If the wedding party is to include children, we will offer a special menu for them to enjoy. For children 3 – 11 years of age, we charge $ 18.95. Meals for children under the age of 3 are complementary.

VENDOR MEALS It is customary to provide a meal for those vendors whose services are provided during your event. We charge $18.95 per meal. Please provide any dietary restrictions with final count.

HOWLING COW ICE CREAM STATION: $5.95/PERSON Choice of chocolate or vanilla ice cream. May choose both for 100+ guests. Toppings include nuts, chocolate syrup, caramel, sprinkles, and whipped cream. Station is self-service. If you would like staff to scoop the ice cream for your guests one may be provided for $15.00/hour. 13


BAR OPTIONS


Rave! Events offers four bar packages from which to choose. Prices are listed on a per person basis, but must be planned for all guests in your party. The bar will supply your selected beer, wine, liquor, soft drinks, and bottled water for your guests to enjoy. With each liquor package, standard mixers and sodas are included, as well as a champagne toast for all guests. Guests under 21 years of age will be charged $9.95. Hosted packages are based on a 2.5 hour block. Bartender fees are included in the listed costs for bar packages.

Bartending services are required for all events when alcohol is being served. For cash or consumption bars, the bartender fee is $50 per hour, per bartender, based on a three (3) hour minimum. We require one bartender per 50 guests.

Signature Drinks You also have the option to offer a special "Signature Drink" to your guests. Please ask your Rave! sales coordinator for details. Additionally, if you would prefer a specific beverage let your coordinator know and Rave! Events will make arrangements to provide on the day of the event. Special Order Beer and Wines You may wish to have a special beer or wine served at your wedding reception. If possible, we will order the item through one of our purveyors, and we are happy to place a special order for you. Your Rave! Wedding coordinator will help you determine the number of cases needed to serve your event. You will be charged for the entire order at a determined price. Any unopened left over product after your event will be yours to take with you or pick up the next week following your event. Special orders must be submitted no less than 30 days prior to the event. Wolfpack Beer The Park Alumni Center is pleased to offer NC State’s exclusive Wolfpack Beer, brewed on campus through efforts within the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. Our craft beer is available on draft: 1 ⁄6 barrel (45 servings) ½ barrel (120 servings) Please consult your event coordinator for options and pricing. To ensure the safety of all guests the Rave! Events bartending staff is trained to request identification for all alcohol consumption and reserves the right to refuse and stop service to any guest as necessary.

FOOD AND BEVERAGE POLICY Rave! Events provides all food and beverage with the exception of your wedding cake. No food or beverage may be brought in for an outside source; this includes any external catering. Individually packaged edible favors such as cookies may be provided by client. For clarification please contact your event coordinator. There is a 20% service charge on all food and beverage in addition to State of North Carolina sales tax.

ROOM DIAGRAM Your Rave! event coordinator will create a custom room diagram for your event. The tables will be numbered as they appear on this diagram along with the number of chairs per table. If offering multiple entrées for a plated dinner client must provide place cards or escort cards. Please provide place cards in alphabetical order. Each card should have a table number along with the guest’s name. Remember, the place card must denote the entrée selection for each guest. Your event coordinator can assist in color coding and proper placement to benefit the service staff.

GUEST COUNT A final guarantee of attendance is due to your coordinator no later than seven (7) business days prior to your event. This is a minimum number for which you will be charged and is not subject to reduction. You may increase this number within 5% up to 24 hours prior to your event. If you need to raise it above the 5%, your coordinator may have to consult with the chef and the event coordinator as to the availability of your menu, staff and service needs and capacity of the venue. If you have chosen to serve your guests a choice of entrée, those specific quantities are due at the time of your guarantee. Numbers of children, vendors and special dietary requests are also expected at this time.

RESTRICTIONS FOR OUTDOOR EVENTS A backup location for inclement weather is required in order to confirm your outdoor event. If you have chosen to serve a meal outdoors, a tent is required, regardless of the weather. Rave! Events does not offer a portable dance floor. If you require a tent, dance floor or other rental items for your event, please consult our event coordinator.

INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY The event coordinator will make a weather call on the day of your reception no later than 8:00 a.m. for an afternoon event or 1:00 p.m. for your evening reception. If the forecast as reported on wral.com is 40% chance or more of inclement weather, or if the temperature is above 90 degrees heat index or below 65 degrees, your event will be automatically moved to the backup location. Once this decision is made, everyone will adhere to it. In the event your program is moved to the backup location, it may mean that some of your rental items cannot be used. The client is responsible for any and all cancellation fees, including the 20% service charge assessed by Rave! Events for any rental items that cannot be cancelled or used. In the extremely rare event that the university officially closes during adverse weather, or the threat of impending inclement weather, the client will not incur any charges associated with their event. If the University remains open, but the client makes the decision to cancel their event for any weather-related reason, they will be required to inform Rave! Events 48 hours in advance in order to avoid any charges. If the client does not cancel within the 48-hour time period, they will be billed a 35% fee of the estimated total cost. All other scenarios will revert to the normal cancellation policy.

PORTRAITS One of the amenities we offer to wedding parties hosting their reception with us is the opportunity to have your bridal portraits taken on the property. If you choose to have your photos taken in our venues, please contact your coordinator to make the necessary arrangements. Times and locations may be limited due to other events using the venue. There are several memorable locations for photographs during receptions. We request that you do not move any furniture, climb on statues, or disrupt any landscaping.

HIRING A WEDDING PLANNER Planning your wedding can consume a great deal of your time and effort. A Rave! Events wedding coordinator can handle all of the details on the day of your event so you can concentrate on enjoying your day. We recommend hiring a wedding coordinator if you identify with two or more of the following: I do not live locally, work full time, have limited assistance from family and friends, envision a logistically involved or elaborate wedding, need assistance with vendors, or need help with organization and timelines.

VENDOR RECOMMENDATIONS Rave! Events enjoys many great relationships with local professionals such as florists, event designers, musicians, photographers, and bakeries. A list of resources are available upon request; however, you may use any vendor you prefer.

ACCESS TO THE BUILDING Your vendors may gain access to the spaces you have reserved three hours prior to your event. If you need more time, consult your event coordinator; an additional charge may apply.

WEDDING CAKES You are welcome to have your choice of bakers provide this service for you on this special day, so long as you select a licensed provider. We will need to know: »» What time will the cake be delivered »» If you have arranged for a pedestal or stand »» Will the baker require any parts of the cake to be returned »» If you plan to preserve the top tier. (If so, have your baker provide a box.)

DECOR Our interior and exterior spaces are elegantly appointed with high-quality materials and neutral colors. If you choose to have elaborate decorations, please consult our event coordinator for permissible items and access time. Additional charges may apply. When choosing outdoor decorations, ensure that plant stands or columns are weighted to prevent them from tipping over. Please be sure to remove all event decor and personal items on the day of the event unless other prior arrangements are made with your sales coordinator.

CANDLES Candles are permitted provided they are contained or have a hurricane to contain the flame. Long tapered candles are not permitted unless they are "chase candles".

SEND OFF We do not permit–inside or outside–rice, confetti, or rose petals. We permit bubbles and sparklers outside only, as well as live dove and butterfly releases when booked through licensed professional animal handlers.
