These Isis trolleys provide charge only and charge and sync options for iPads in larger cases so you don’t need to remove the cases to charge. Isis Chromebook Charging Trolleys

Mobile or static laptop charging and storage Isis Laptop trolleys and cupboards provide charging and storage for 15 or 30 laptops with a screen size of up to 15.6 inches. Laptops are stored horizontally, with shelf cut outs for easy access and the power adapters stored in a separate hidden compartment with power management. The designs are compact, elegant and unobtrusive.

The Isis Chromebook Charging trolleys provide charging and storage for 16 or 32 chromebooks, ultrabooks and tablet computers (up to 13.3” screen size), such as Samsung and Toshiba Chromebooks and Apple MacBooks. Devices are stored horizontally on shelves making access easy, and only a short length of power lead is presented to each shelf. The AC power adapters are stored in a separate electrical compartment and soft start power management is fitted as standard.

MANUFACTURE

ASSEMBLY

Build quality is paramount. We use materials and manufacturing processes that ensure our furniture can withstand the inevitable knocks and scuffs of school life, while retaining its good looks. Welding, rather than crush-bending, is robust and looks better. Alloy inserts make joins ultra-strong and means the screws will stay put. Compact laminate, which most of our table tops are made of, is one solid piece so the edges won’t peel off your tables. It’s this attention to detail that makes all the difference.

TEST

As well as consulting teachers and learners, we talk to a broad range of industry experts, from designers and manufacturers to ergonomists. This keeps us informed about all the latest developments in materials, manufacturing techniques and design.

Our furniture doesn’t simply roll off the end of a machine. It’s a fundamental part of Isis quality that our unique designs are assembled by our highly skilled production team. We use quality components and materials which, when combined with the care and attention of our assembly team, create a product that is a cut above in terms of quality.

This spacious and unique school building was designed to incorporate curves instead of straight lines. The brief was to create furniture that could be used in original and innovative ways by teachers, yet also be used in the traditional manner to meet classroom requirements. Furniture that complemented the curved walls and open spaces and was welcoming as well as intriguing to children.

IT Suite: The Headteacher at Scientia Academy had an incredible vision to create a IT space that utilised the central hub of the school. Isis worked with Yateen to create a bespoke curved area with fixed IT benching and adjustable touch screen monitors. To add the finishing touch, large screens were installed at each end that rise up at the touch of a button – just magic!

When Headteacher Tom Rees started his new role at Simon De Senlis Primary, he had big ideas about how he wanted to develop the school to its full potential. A key part of this development was to create inspiring learning spaces for both the children and the teachers. The old furniture in the

school was uninspiring, tired and mismatched, leading to a lack of pride from the teachers and children. The classrooms were messy, cluttered and unloved. Tom started a project to turn the school around called “Simon de Senlis Reimagined” using a collaborative process to create a vision for the school. A really important part of this was the learning environment. The group decided they wanted a look that was clean, contemporary, de-cluttered and flexible in order to complement their strategy to create “curious, industrious, agile learners that go on to make a dent in the universe.”

To fit in the number of students required Isis made the best use of the space with bespoke benching

In the collaborative working area interlocking Lunar tables make the area really flexible, allowing different table configurations and layouts. Breakout areas with soft seating were added for those that wanted to learn in a more relaxing environment and the librarians had a new bespoke reception counter that they just love! In the words of Reading College , “We really did get our moon on a stick.”

Science Academy’s new building which now houses its 11-19 year old students. The good quality, high specification furniture was deliberately selected to create a professional atmosphere in which students and teachers feel valued and respected. The quality of the environment makes it clear that the school is investing in its students – and they are expected to reciprocate by working hard and achieving good results. In order to promote equality, the furniture is the same throughout the school with different coloured chairs for variety. The furniture has replaceable components such as chair seats and backs to enable the high quality finish to be maintained.

Key to the design were a number of breakout spaces for students to relax and share experiences. Isis worked with the vision of the One in a Million free school to create hexagon shaped seating that was easy to move and

comfortable to sit on, with matching tables. One in a Million also wanted a friendly family feel to the school and integrated beanbags into breakout areas so that the students could relax in a more informal way. These have been hugely successful. The classroom spaces all utilised the Isis Concepts t41 tables which are designed to encourage a flexible learning environment. These tables can be arranged in a number of different layouts, for example its easy to arrange them individually for exams or concentrated working, and then rearranged in groups or waves for a more collaborate style.

Delivery

Lead times – most products are available six weeks from order. Actual delivery date will be confirmed once order has been processed. Delivery charges are quoted on a case by case basis. It is assumed that products are delivered to the ground floor with reasonable vehicular access and we reserve the right to add supplementary charges if access is difficult. If delivery is to anywhere other than the ground floor please advise if there is lift access and the dimensions of the lift. It is essential that we know these details to ensure we send the appropriate team and equipment to ensure a smooth delivery.

IT hardware and accessories are not included in the price. Standard delivery does not include the installation of hardware, cabling or accessories in any of the Isis IT Desking products. If you require installation there will be an additional fee. Please ask for details.

10 years A decade. Thatâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s our standard guarantee on all products with no moving or electrical parts.

5 years Five years is our standard guarantee on products with moving parts like hinges, castors, cranks and other mechanisms and all soft seating products.
