When you pick up your in-processing checklist from MPD in Bldg.102, you will be registered to join us at the next CNCO date. At CNCO, you will receive important information about Garrison resources and services you will need to get acclimated to your new duty station. Lunch is served at 12 noon that offers a taste Japan. Japan Specific Sponsorship Training • May 12 • 2 - 3 p.m. • ACS Bldg. 402 First impressions are important. Ensuring that incoming personnel are privy to the information and support they need to hit the ground mission ready upon arrival is a very vital task. A good sponsorship experience eases the transition and reduces culture shock. In addition to the mandated overall sponsorship training on AKO, JSST offers you all of the current local information and best practices you’ll need to be a top notch Sponsor. Contact Lucinda Ward @ 046-407-4357 or lucinda.f.ward.civ@mail.mil for more information or to schedule a training for your unit which can be held at your location or at ACS on a date and time that is most convenient for you.

Volunteer (OPOC) Organization Point of Contact (OPOC) Training OPOC is offered every 2nd Tuesday of the month at the ACS conference room. OPOC training is designed to teach appointed point of contacts about their roles and responsibilities, how to use the newly revised VMIS system, and how to properly maintain volunteer records. This training is an hour long training with a great deal of information beneficial for all dynamics. Special arrangements can be made to conduct training via MS Teams.

Japan Specific Sponsorship Training (Virtual) • Every 4th Tuesday • 9 a.m. • ACS Bldg. 402 Japan Specific Sponsorship Training is offered virtually via MS Teams every 4th Tuesday of the month at 9 a.m. Participants must call 263-4357 to sign up for the training and receive the MS Teams channel information.

Volunteer Orientation Training • Every 3rd Friday • 11 a.m. • ACS Bldg. 402 For those interested in volunteering at Camp Zama Army Community Service, a Volunteer Orientation is offered every 3rd Friday of the month at 11 a.m. in the ACS conference room. Please visit ACS to receive the volunteer packet and sign up for the orientation.
