For weeks, a committee of dedicated volunteers has been discussing, planning and implementing new ideas for
Canada Day Celebrations in Camrose this Friday, July 1. With the Canada Day itinerary now finalized, it looks to be an exciting, entertaining and fun-filled day. People will be able to get in a celebratory mood as early as 8:30 a.m., at the Community Centre, with an inexpensive breakfast. This breakfast is being presented by the Swans and Roses Lions Club. Opening ceremonies at Camrose and District Centennial Museum, which kick off over 10 hours of live entertainment, will take place at 11:00 a.m. The always-exciting Duck Race, hosted by Rotaract, takes place at 4:00 p.m. at the west edge of the Community Centre parking lot. (Ducks are still available by calling 780-679-5085). And, let us not forget about the much-anticipated grand finale – Canada Day fireworks at dusk, high over the open field immediately north of Max McLean Arena. Visit our website: www.camrosebooster.com
