One of the most novel annual fund-raisers in the community is The Camrose Open Door Association Bedrace. The event draws a sizeable crowd, is a blast to watch and is eagerly supported by the local business community. It raises a lot of money (last year over $20,000 was raised) which directly supports local youth who find themselves at risk.

It’s Race Week in Camrose! Creative Bedrooms has once again stepped up to be the title sponsor of the Saturday, September 29 Bedrace, indoors at CRE. Teams of five will compete from noon to 3 p.m. Camrose Church of God is the defending champion of the fastest bed. The Scotiabank crew and driver will be defending the two-time position of the most money raised champion.
