Thanks to Grade 10, 11 and 12 students of Bawlf School and art instructor Theresa Kruchten for using their time and talent to prepare
wonderful Christmas art for many corporate ads in this issue of The Booster. The school’s cooperation was unsurpassed. Student’s drawings are clearly exceptional. Every drawing received was definitely of usable quality and we regret not being able to publish every one of their creative sketches. Special thanks to Japanese foreign exchange student Ayumi Takahashi for her remarkable piece shown above. This student, who returned to her native country just last week, has been living with the Porter family for the past eleven months. She reports that living with her host family and studying at Bawlf School has been a wonderful and memorable opportunity. As you read the many ads from many local businesses, and ads from businesses located in Daysland, Killam and elsewhere, be reminded how fortunate you are to live in such a kind and caring part of the world. We hope this edition warms your heart and brightens your week. Merry Christmas, Booster readers!
