Canada Day celebrations in Camrose will start later than previous years, as there will not be a breakfast. Festivities will start at 11 a.m. on July 1 at the Camrose Centennial Museum. This year’s activities will commemorate the Quebec and Charlottetown Conferences. On stage entertainment will be diverse in nature and lively. The Rocknauts will be the final act of the day, going on stage at 9:30 p.m. Throughout the day, inside the museum buildings and on the grounds, entertainment and activities will be offered for all generations. Face Painting, carnival games, a community yard sale and a scavenger hunt are hints of what has been planned by the Camrose and Area Canada Day committee. The day will wrap up with fireworks taking place when sky conditions allow (expected start time around 11:15 p.m) north of the Max Mclean arena in Rudy Swanson Park.
