The “Maple Split” is an amazing aerial manoeuvre which has been perfected by the highly trained and skilled members of the Canadian Forces Snowbirds. At OleO’s Ice Cream Castle, by Mirror Lake, in Camrose this weekend, the maple split is a delight that will be delicious to the very last lick. Snowbirds Maple Split Ice Cream Social. This is a rare opportunity to meet and mingle with the pilots and crew of the famous military precision flying team. The social will take place
Friday, August 1st, 7:30 p.m. at the Camrose Airport.
You can build your own Sundae with the Snowbirds. Souvenirs will be signed. At 9:00 p.m. an outdoor “fly-in” movie will be presented. Kids are invited to buzz in to the movie with their lawn chairs, sleeping bags and home-built airplane creations in exchange for an opportunity to win prizes.
