As usual, it was not an easy decision for the judging crew who wound their way around the streets of Camrose on Wednesday, December 17. They were in search of the home which had been best decorated to portray the spirit of the Christmas season. Again this year, city residents have done a stellar job in an attempt to bring smiles to the faces of adults and awe to young children. The winning home in this year’s Christmas Light-Up contest, at 5301-56 street is owned by Yvonne and Rod Seibold. Ecstatic about their win, the couple took a video of their award-winning hard work and posted it on social media. They invited the community to come by and view their breathtaking display. Hours later, under the cover of darkness, in a senseless act of cruelty and vandalism, much of their remarkable tribute to the joyous Christian holiday season was destroyed. Story continued on page 12.
