Canada geese can be seen in formation overhead or in pairs on County waterbodies or exploring fields. For many, the geese are the first significant sign of spring.

The Geese are Back! The familiar honking sound has returned to these parts, as the Canada geese flock back on their northbound journey. The geese are taking advantage of the open water on rivers, creeks and sloughs – as well as the leftover grain scattered throughout the fields.
