We would like to welcome you to our 51st Annual Fall Production Sale. 69 years of registering Hereford cattle has built four generations of family. The confidence the Hereford cattle have given the young and the old to continue in the livestock industry has been remarkable. To stay in the registered business you have to be more involved with your livestock and that’s where family makes the difference. The Hereford fraternity has contributed greatly to the way of life that we are fortunate enough to live. Livestock producers have seen many changes and trends come and go. It’s funny how the older traditional cattle that are easy to keep and rustle forage on their own has become new again. One thing is certain, the Hereford cow can meet all ranch expectations with their durability and docile manner. We’ve spent great amounts of money on feed efficiency trials to prove what experienced ranchers already know. The Hereford breed can live on straw piles and dig for prairie under the snow as well as any beef animal. With input costs rising we try not to process and haul all our winter’s feed. Our current herd winters on standing corn from Nov 1 to April. We then bring them home, pair them up and push them out to spring grazing. Natural selection of Mother Nature’s wrath is the best EPD and feed efficiency trial we are aware of. When purebred cattle achieve their goals under range conditions they will excel in controlled environments. The consistency needed to improve your bottom line is easy to measure in Mother Nature’s Feedlot. At Fenton Hereford Ranch our goal is to provide consistent, productive cattle that will allow our customers the best possible result. area. All males are guaranteed to pass tests. All cattle on full vaccination program and have had Ivomec. Pasture exposure dates are listed. Should any animal fail to be a breeder, we would like to be notified as soon as possible so as to make suitable settlement.
Liability All animals will be at buyers risk as soon as sold. Sellers, auctioneers or employees are not responsible for accidents to persons or property.

Has been a corner stone sire for the breed. His sons and daughters continue to be high sellers in many herds and sales. 254E will continue to be a big part of the Hereford industry through his progeny.
23T was purchased from Crone Herefords to replace his sire 129P. He has done that well and sires long, sound, well muscled bulls with good disposition. The females will be herd builders.
114T was purchased at the East Central Bull Sale from Jim and Georgina Westgard. We have been using him on second calvers where he has done very well. 114T calves are long and smooth and calve easy. This very sound correct bull will add extra pigment and hair. We have used a number of sons.

24U is out of a 3P son and out of a very good cow that also raised 32P. 24U was reserve champion at the Hereford genes event and a class winner at the Hardisty Field Day. We sold a half interest to Corbiell Herefords and they won their division with a group of 24U sons at the World Hereford Conference.
260U is out of the same SNS 3P son as 24U. Dam 27J has raised 3 herd bulls including 54R for JoNomn Herefords and 28Z who is an up and coming herd sire at the ranch. 260U daughters all have good udders and are very productive.
63W was the Grand Champion Bull at Medicine Hat where we purchased him from Bar Pipe Hereford Ranch. 8 sons averaged $10000 at the Calgary Bull Sale in the spring of 2015. His daughters look exceptional with perfect freckled udders and extra milk.

Idol was purchased in the Longmuir Production Sale as a yearling stallion prospect in 2005. That year his mother had the high selling offspring in 4 different age groups. This foundation mare has produced the consistent structure and disposition we were looking for. After working with Idol as a 2 year old he matches the consistency of Jackie Flair’s offspring. Andy Dechaine purchased this stallion in our sale as a stallion prospect and we were fortunate to be able to get him back. When we stared Dude he was as easy to train as his sire. Dude feels nice under saddle and we are proud of his colts.

A home raised stallion from a Dick Pahl bred mare and a Russ Arthur stallion. When we first tied this guy up as a baby he never pulled back and we wondered if he would lead. He was obliging from day one and we thought he might be stallion material. The first time we saddled him it never bothered him so we rode off. He never looked back. Due to this disposition we used him extensively and are glad we did. His colts are a pleasure to train and are fancy to boot!
