Welcome to the 2022 RACK Red Angus Bull Sale

We would like to invite you to our 2022 “Bulls With More Burger Than Bun Sale”. We foremost would like to thank all our buyers and bidders and friends who have supported over the years to present. Without all of you none of this would be possible. Remember our success is only measured by your success. As we all know this past year has been full of challenge for all. But somehow we fight through these circumstances and only become stronger for doing it. We all need to focus on the changing world and create new opportunities to move on with our lives. Highlights of 2021 started with the marriage of Will & Kelsey in August on the ranch as we welcomed Will into the family officially. They have decided to reside in Claresholm and to follow Grandpa Doug’s passion in the cattle industry with taking the name of Meadow Creek Angus. A very big highlight for them was at the 2021 Red Round Up sale they stepped up and purchased the record high selling female lot, Kenray Merit Freja 36H a BLACK red gene carrier bred heifer for $40,000. This was a bit stressful bringing this girl home safely without having a heart attack. We were happily surprised with a RED Six Mile Hardwire bull calf. Watch for exciting news on both flush opportunities and what becomes of this exciting bull calf. We sold females at Red Round Up and Ladies In The West Sale and thank those buyers; Family Ties Angus, Fine Line Angus, Brylor & First Class Marketing, Eye Hill Stock Farm and Rancho 5K Angus in Mexico. Also had success with our new herd sire Red BCC Brylor OTM Resolution, who was purchased from Brandl Cattle Co for $30,000. We sold semen on this exciting new herd sire on

The bulls in this year’s offering are a good reliable set. We have sleep easy to the power house cow bulls. The bulls started out on high protein oat greenfeed and were switched to grass hay in thee start of November. We add a 14% Bullseye pellet ration with mineral and rumensin. The bulls will be in their working pants and have been developed not pushed to provide longevity. We would like to thank Joe McLean from Bullseye Feeds who has provided us with an outstanding product that has worked well with the bulls this year. Due to Covid and provincial announcements please follow our facebook page for updates regarding the sale. We will also have photos and videos available on our facebook page and on cattlevids for viewing. We will have DLMS online bidding available sale day if you are not able to attend.
