Our sale, this year, consists of both yearlings and long-yearling bulls. We calve the cowherd that supplies the yearlings in February/March, and we calve the cowherd that supplies the long yearlings in May/June. We’re excited to offer you some variety in your bull selection process, a “one stop shop”! We felt it would be beneficial for everyone if we moved our sale date a little earlier. This earlier sale will give you the opportunity to find the right bull for your operation in a timely manner. Our goal is simple, Our Best. Always. From calving cows to bull pen selection, to feeding bulls, and delivering the final product. We have put forth, our best effort. Our cowherd must work for us. Their feet, udders and attitude are a priority. Our 3 young kids are out and about daily with the cows; cows with attitude must go! These bulls have been fed responsibly with a high roughage Total Mixed Ration. Our goal is to produce bulls that stay sound, and hard, and adapt to their new environment wherever that may be. Your satisfaction is our number one priority. This year we are offering a new Bull Warranty Program. We stand behind our cattle and our program and we will get you a bull for the breeding season, guaranteed! There are numerous moving parts that keep a ranch functioning. RIGHT CROSS RANCH NUTRITION

Right Cross Ranch has a strong focus on nutrition and management for their growing bulls and entire cow herd. Each ration is balanced based on feed analysis and goals for each set of cattle. The bull rations are formulated with 20% coarse chopped hay to encourage cud chewing, a healthy rumen and longevity. Coarsely rolled barley or corn grain provides energy to optimize growth. Cereal silage and a custom formulated bull supplement rounds out the bull rations. Slow and steady growth is the goal for Right Cross bulls. It would be great if you have the opportunity to stop by the ranch to check out the bulls and the growing rations prior to the sale.

They produce and raise ”rancher approved” bulls in a ranch setting and a ranch tradition. In building their cowherd soundness, fertility and producing extra pounds at weaning has been achieved… you can select with confidence, the bulls will perform with longevity. A stout, rugged group of both Red and Black bulls await your appraisal. The yearling bulls are selected from the early calving group while the later born bulls are offered as two -year olds… they can cover more cows, bigger cows and adapt to all types of terrain in big pastures. Since Right Cross Ranch uses walking bulls, you have the opportunity to select half brothers with similar genetic makeup. Whether you need power bulls or bulls for your heifer pastures, quality runs deep and consistent… bulls for all pastures and all reasons! Customer service always has been, and always will be, our number one priority! We stand behind our bulls, and our program, and will do anything in our power to make sure your cows are covered. Every bull sold has passed a semen test prior to delivery. If your bull fails to be a satisfactory breeder, we will provide you with a replacement bull or a sale credit. The Right Cross Ranch Bull Warranty Program covers your bull for injury or death. Intentional acts of mistreatment causing injury or death are considered fraudulent claims. If there is a concern regarding your bull, please notify Right Cross Ranch immediately. We ask that you contact a licensed veterinarian to diagnose and assist you with treating your bull. We will be in contact with your vet and if the animal dies a postmortem will be required (at your cost).

Warranty Program Descriptions

The following options are available, and settlement will be required on the day of the sale. The buyer is responsible to choose their plan and communicate their wishes on sale day.

6 months - 7%

This plan covers your bull from the date of our sale, through one breeding season. Covers 100% of the bull’s purchase price less salvage value.

12 months – 10%

This plan covers your bull from the date of our sale, through one breeding season, and one winter. Covers 100% of the bull’s purchase price less salvage value.

We only exposed our cows, one last time, to Ambush 10Y for 30 days. The next 5 dams caught on their first cycle and gave us a crackerjack set of sons with Ambush’s last “kick at the cat.” The first thing that pops into my mind when I think about 82J, is his dam. She’s out of one of our favorite lines, Queen Mother. Her mother has been flushed many times and her sister was one of the high selling females in the 2020 Keystone Sale. 82J is a bull that will produce top notch females. The right of property shall not pass until after settlement has been made; no invoicing on buyers in attendance unless previous arrangements have been made. Each animal sells to the highest bidder and in cases of disputes, the auctioneer’s decision will be final. Current exchange rates will be announced sale day. All monies are in Canadian funds.

Certificate of Registration:

Each animal will carry papers issued by the Canadian Angus Association, unless otherwise specified. A certificate of registry duly transferred will be furnished to the buyer for each animal after payment has been made.

Pedigree Estimates

Pedigree Estimates (PE) are created on the projected mating of the animal’s sire and dam based on averages of the two, creating estimated values that do not hold the same accuracy of actual EPDs issued from the association and should be used as such.

Health:

All animals in the sale have met all necessary health requirements.

Guarantee:

Each animal becomes the purchaser’s risk immediately after the animal is sold. All animals in this sale will be sold under the terms and guarantees set forth by the Canadian Angus Association with regard to health, freedom from defects and from both reproductive and specific genetic unsoundness.

Liabilities:

All persons attend the sale at their own risk. The seller, facility owner and sale manager assume no liability, legal or otherwise, for any accidents that occur.
