Welcome to your new home at Centennial Place

Residence! Whether you ' ve arrived with suitcases packed or just a backpack and a spirit of adventure, you ' re embarking on an incredible journey. This move-in guide isn't just a checklist; it's your key to life at Centennial Place, your college residence. Inside, you'll find packing tips, room layout ideas, and local insights—including must-attend events during welcome week. Get ready to settle in, meet fellow residents, and create memories that will shape your college experience. Let's make your move-in smooth and your time here unforgettable, whether you ' re from near or far.

RESIDENT HANDBOOK

The Residence Handbook contains important guidelines to help you navigate life at Centennial Place. Be sure to review it for all the rules and expectations during your stay

UNIT CONDITION

Upon moving in, you must complete the Unit Condition Form within 24 hours This form allows you to document the condition of your unit to ensure there are no pre-existing issues when you move out.

WORK ORDER

If something in your unit needs fixing, fill out a Work Order Request Our maintenance team will address the issue promptly to ensure your living space remains in good condition.

MOVE-IN STEPS

Show Your Proof of Payment

Present your golden ticket (proof of 1st payment) to unlock your new home.

Renter's Insurance Ready

Have your active renter's insurance policy ready. If you don't have one yet, you can purchase it at the residence, or bring proof if you ' re using your parents' insurance.

ID, Please!

Flash your photo identification so we know it's really you moving in.

Sign-In and Register

Head to the sign-in table and complete the Move-In Registration Form. This crucial step leads to your keys and a welcome package full of goodies.

Collect Your Keys and Welcome Package

Hooray! You're officially a resident. Grab your keys and a move-in package brimming with essentials and helpful info.

Inspect Your New Space

Once inside, give your unit a good once-over. Complete the Unit Condition Form within 24 hours. This ensures we can address any issues and helps avoid future charges.

1- Download the Coinamatic Cp Mobile App

2- Enable Bluetooth

3- Register/ Sign In 4- Add funds

5- Load clothes and select desired settings on the machine

6- On the App, enter the machine # or scar QR code on the reader and pay for cycle

7- Press start on the machine

Please review the following frequently asked questions regarding the building and move-in day below:

When can I move in?

The move-in date for all incoming Fall 2024 Residents will be Sunday, August 18th, 2024. You will receive an email in August to book your move-in time slot. We ask that our incoming Residents book time slots to avoid elevator and parking delays If you will be arriving on a later date, please reach out to a member of our leasing team to let us know your anticipated arrival date

Can I move in earlier?

Please contact the office to see if we can accommodate an early move-in

What is renters insurance and do I need to provide it?

Coverage for your personal belongings is not included as part of your Lease Agreement Renters insurance can provide coverage for loss or damage to your personal belongings (including fire, theft, or natural causes) Centennial Place requires all Residents to secure and provide a copy of renters insurance before they move in You may already be covered under an existing insurance policy held by your parent or guarantor so make sure to check with them first!

My plans have changed and I will no longer be moving into Centennial Place. What should I do?

Centennial Place does not allow any cancellations of our signed Lease Agreement However, we do allow Residents to re-let or sublet their space Please be advised, Centennial Place is not responsible for finding a sublet or re-let on behalf of a Resident and any sublet or relet must be approved by Centennial Place Management If you are unable to find a sublet or re-let, you will be held to the terms of your Lease Agreement and will be expected to make all payments in full

What needs to be completed prior to move-in?

The first installment of Lease Agreement must be paid in full before you are able to receive your keys at move-in Please plan accordingly and have your installement paid before move-in to avoid any delays You will also need to complete your move in checklist and provide a copy of your renters insurance prior to or on move-in day

What happens once I movein?

Welcome Week occurs during the first week of your arrival! Our Residence Life Team will be hosting fun filled activities each day, to encourage community building, and networking opportunities among all of our residents This also gives you the perfect chance to get to know your Residence Life Team and your floor Community Assistant!

*PLEASE NOTE: Centennial Place features free, building-wide Wi-Fi We ask that Residents refrain from bringing routers to Centennial Place as they are a known cause of connection interference
