LETTER FROM THE RLC Hello everyone, Welcome to June! We are excited to be sharing with you our 2019-2020 year in review, June newsletter. We know the last couple of months have been challenging and stress-filled. Though we look optimistically ahead to a new month filled with warm weather, sunshine, and new opportunities. As we are all being drawn out to the nice weather, please remember to follow all the guidelines provided by the federal, provincial and local health authorities concerning physical distancing and hand hygiene. We thank you for your ongoing efforts in mitigating the spread of COVID-19 both in the community and at Parkside. See your email for your log-in credentials. Lastly, I wanted to take this opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Daniel Travieso, I am the new Residence Life Coordinator at Parkside. I am excited to return home to the Parkside community. Parkside has always held a special place in my heart, as it was my first home in Canada and the place where I met some of my dearest friends. A little about me, I am from a Dutch Caribbean island called Curaçao. I am fluent in four languages including, English, Spanish, Dutch and Papiamentu and I hold a Bachelor of Design Degree from OCAD University. I look forward to meeting you soon.
