W E. L C O M E H O M E On August 26th, CampusOne opened its doors to hundreds of residents. We are so excited you’re here! As you settled in your new home, take time to make the space yours! Put up pictures of family and friends around your room. Get pillow with a fun saying or cool pattern to personalize your bed. Explore the building! Even numbered floors have common kitchens and study lounges, while odd numbered floors have fun amenities such as a Lego Room, a Dance Studio, and a Video Game Lounge. CampusOne has so much to offer. Remember your Residence Life Don is great contact as you transition to life at CampusOne.

WEEKONE CampusOne’s very first Welcome Week is complete. We explored CampusOne and its numerous amazing amenities. We tested our pop culture knowledge. You showed off your talents at our Coffee House event. Karaoke classics were belted out on the second floor even our General Manager joined the fun! We enjoyed the amazing view our SkyLine6 Lounge had to offer. Check out the next page for upcoming events in September.

Paddy Meagher 4th FLOOR RESIDENCE LIFE DON Hi guys, I’m Paddy. I'm from Melbourne, Australia. I have lived in Melbourne for the past six years before that I lived in regional Australia. I’m graduate student at the University of Toronto, studying a Master’s of Science with a focus on heart failure and cardiovascular research. I am really excited about meeting lots of new people and interacting with all the residence here at CampusOne. I love sports and going to sporting events, especially Australian Rules Football (AFL). Ask me to show you! It is like nothing you have ever seen. I play golf, soccer, cricket. Pizza is my favorite food. I love a good pizza I also love watching Netflix and travelling abroad. We have a great year ahead of us!

Take a walk on the wild side at CampusOne. Interact with exotic animals in our very own Skyline6 Lounge. Learn about the animals ambassadors and conservation efforts.

Nuit Blanche is Toronto’s all night art fest. Explore the city and CampusOne transformed by artists. LESS SLEEP, MORE ART.

TIPS FOR THE NEW SCHOOL YEAR University/college can be exciting and scary all at the same time. Whether you are a first year student or pursuing a graduate degree, each new school year brings its own challenges. The CampusOne community will strive to support you through these challenges and cheer your successes.

1. Get involved! Go to floor meetings and residence life programs. Join the Residence Council. Talk to your Residence Don to see how you can be an active part of our community. 2. Use your resources. Every university/college has student specific resources from academic support to mental health support. You are paying tuition so get your money’s worth! 3. Find your balance. School work and leisure time are both important. Find a balance that works for you.
