We want your wedding to be unique so we only offer a handful of dates every year, each with exclusive use of the manor house and formal lawns.
Tracing its origins to the Domesday Book, the Grade 1 listed Manor House offers a unique setting for your civil ceremony.We are licensed for civil ceremonies of between 60 and 130 guests taking place in the Long Gallery or Old Library. For your reception choose the baronial Great Hall, with its sweeping staircase and minstrels’ gallery where the Prince of Wales once danced after a shooting party, We offer receptions for up to 130 guests for dining and up to 180 for an evening celebration.With exclusive use of the formal lawns for your wedding day, there is the option of an outdoor ceremony with views to the arboretum and parkland beyond.
The flexibility of what we offer within such a distinctive venue means that, whatever your style our wedding planners will work with you to create a memorable day.
Your wedding will be tailored to you, catering is run by our in-house team and you can make use of our extensive knowledge and network of local professionals, or choose your own suppliers for everything else. Our aim is simply to create your perfect day.

Few venues can match the stunning beauty of Canford School. With formal lawns by the Manor and a beautiful fountain making way for wooded parkland as you wander among the 250 acres. The River Stour running along the base of the site adds another dimension for photographs and for guests to enjoy. Outside ceremonies are also available with a back drop of the fountain on the Sunken Lawn and stunning views.

We offer a bespoke dining experience. From Pimm’s on the lawn, to a celebratory Champagne toast, to fine wines. We can tailor a package to suit you and your guests.
Our talented chefs will use the finest locally sourced ingredients to provide you with a stunning menu. Our Head Chef together with your personal wedding planner will work with you to ensure you have the perfect seasonal menu to suit your perfect day.

The baronial great staircase is the perfect setting for photographs and offers an entrance like no other to the Great Hall. Enjoy the splendour of the hall ,with its stunning high ceiling, twin chandeliers and beautiful stone surround fireplace, the perfect space for your bespoke wedding breakfast. The Great Hall is beautiful as it is but has a neutral colour scheme to incorporate your unique style and vision for your wedding.
The Great Hall can seat up to 130 guests on round tables or 100 guests in a traditional banquet style arrangement with long tables. Celebrate in style, and we will transform the hall to your evening reception for your guests to dance the night away.

The Old Library has been lovingly restored, and is the perfect setting to hold your wedding ceremony, hosting up to 130 guests with views looking out onto the sunken lawn. Alternatively the Old Library can host 60 guests for dining, speak with our wedding team to find out more.
Utilise the Old Library during your evening reception for guests to unwind with a cup of coffee, and choose one of our delicious evening menus for your guests to enjoy whilst appreciating the spendlor of the room and views. With the Drawing room just next door guests are in easy reach of the bar facilities, in which we ensure you have all you need for dancing the night away.
