Health Information Management Program
The program can be taken in class or online over a two-year period and is accredited by the Canadian College of Health Information Management
The program is eligible for federal and provincial student funding programs.
Graduates can choose to write the Certified in Health Information Management examination Successful candidates are awarded the CHIM designation.
Certified Health Information Professionals are at the forefront of protecting and handling patient data of all kinds, including diagnoses, symptoms, test results, medical histories, and procedures They ensure that the information is accurate, accessible, secure, and of high quality.
