We start off with our featured designer, Alli Walker, of Alli Walker Interiors, showcasing her talents with an incredible office and bedroom display. Then, for those who like art and cake, The London Baker herself, Elizabeth Duran, shows us why she wins all the cake battles. Her posh shop is incredible and I encourage everyone to check out her themed high tea parties. Next, we have Julie Dykema of DFW Declutter Design. This incredible business of organizing your space is sweeping the metroplex and Dykema is the person you want organizing yours. This issue is full of fantastic homes for sale as well. This concept involves going through one’s belongings prior to moving, in order to get rid of all unwanted or unnecessary items first. Trash haul-off, donation drop-off, and even putting items on consignment is all part of this package. Then, after the move she and her team provide an unpacking service to help everything find its place. They can also line cabinets and drawers to prevent warping from moisture and help protect wood as needed. Lastly, if a client uses DFW Declutter Design for a closet design/organization, there is even a closet valet service offered that involves bi-monthly appointments to iron, fold, and properly hang clothes to maintain the integrity and efficiency of the original closet organization.

On top of that, the living room was found to be the most important room to have staged for buyers. To help get your home better prepared to sell, we've put together some quick and easy staging tips to follow in your living room: Realize the greatest selling feature of the space and arrange the 1furniture to focus on that feature, instead of the television! Often,
this is a fireplace so positioning the sofa to face that fireplace can help redirect buyers eyes to also focus on that great feature as well.
Move your furniture pieces away from the wall. Bringing your 2furniture grouping closer together will create a more intimate seating area and will make the space feel more welcoming and comfortable.
