FIBERGLASS DOORS

Never compromise durability for beauty. Good news is, we do both. We build our doors with composite, engineered lumber, which holds up against the elements for strength and longevity, and our foam core offers superior energy efficiency. Our attention to quality is reflected in 20 plus years of manufacturing in Canada. ODL fiberglass doors come in three styles: Estate, Shaker, and Contemporary. Flush Glazed doors offer Shaker and Estate panel designs or opt for full view doorglass.

RIFT CUT

Virtually indistinguishable from the true article, the process begins by constructing an actual wood door and transferring the authentic graining to our unique line of Rift Cut doors. The natural wood graining enables versatility to showcase any stain.

SATIN SMOOTH

The Satin Smooth finish features a unique fine brush stroke surface that’s ideal for finishing applications. You can be sure to find any door in this dependable texture.

FINE GRAIN

Designed exclusively for our Contemporary door line, Fine Grain texture has a tighter, finer grain and enhances the look and feel to that of a modern home.

Our traditional Estate doors feature Edge embossments having the advantEDGE of being molded from handcrafted wood doors that include actual planks. The Rift Cut door graining, captures the authenticity and appeal of multiple wood species in one distinctly linear texture. From there the choice is yours to stain in rich mahogany, classic oak, elegant walnut, or whatever colour suits your style. Our Satin Smooth door is perfect for any colour finish and provides the durability of fiberglass.

SHAKER

Our Shaker door has a clean look with crisp edges, a style which emerged from an arts and crafts movement celebrating the craftsmanship and designs that complement nature with simple lines. This style is also a perfect design for flush glazed doors. That means we have an even greater selection to offer with our wellknown insulated glass. It’s a deft design approach that eliminates the doorglass frame and provides a clean look with more viewing area.

ADJUSTABLE HINGE PREP FOR STEEL-EDGE DOORS

Adjusting the door during normal pre-hanging and installation should not be necessary since the door leaves the factory with the hinge reinforcements pre-set at correct locations. However, during the lifetime of the door it may become necessary to adjust the door due to the normal settling of the house. Having a door with an adjusting hinge feature is perfect for this situation.

STEEL MARK ® AND STEEL MARK ® PLUS

All Steel Mark doors feature 24-gauge steel and are available with either a steel-edge or wood-edge construction. Our high-definition embossments offer a wide variety of panel designs. Select doors are available with a 20-minute fire rating option. Upgrade to a Steel Mark Plus door for a prefinished surface and 20-year warranty versus the standard primed surface and 10-year warranty on Steel Mark doors.

ODL is a leader in decorative doorglass and our assortment of products has grown over the last couple of years with the acquisition of Tru Tech Doors, Verre Select and Robover. With this growth, we have had the pleasure of selecting the best designs from our global portfolio of doorglass.

ODL has added 8 new designs to our doorglass collection. These strikingly beautiful designs range from stunning camed designs to elegant etched privacy glass. We are always looking for ways to enhance our doorglass offering with on trend designs that are what people are looking for.

ODL has added 8 new exciting designs to our extensive doorglass collection. High opacity privacy glass is popular, and we have three new options for our Lightscapes Collection that include Cyndi, a sandblast design with simple vertical lines, Karma, textured enclosed in glass, and Linen, an acid etched design. In our Perspectives Collection we have added Baroque, a subtle wave design that filters the light. ODL is leading the industry in enclosed blinds that reduce the safety risk for children and pets. With no dangling cords, our blinds have received two certifications from the Window Covering Manufacturers Association and Parents for Window Blind Safety.

TRIPLE-GLAZED ENCLOSED BLINDS WITH GRILLES BETWEEN GLASS

These enclosed blinds are a perfect choice for people who value energy savings and quiet. The triple-glazed design with Low-E glass option reduces heat transmission by up to 28 percent and carries a 34 STC (Sound Transmission Coefficient) rating for sound suppression. Beyond the comforts and practicalities of a tripleglazed doorglass lie stylish details, with the grilles adding a warm aesthetic. The blind slats disappear behind the valance when they are fully raised for a clean, finished look. Blinds tilt and raise and lower the entire length of the door glass.

DOORGLASS PRIVACY

As ODL continues to add a variety of doorglass designs with different types of glass, our customers are asking questions about how we determine our privacy levels. With no industry standard, every manufacturer is free to determine what the opacity or privacy level is for their doorglass. We are leading the way with a standard test using a spectrophotometer to produce an objective number for every glass, every time.

We have eliminated arbitrary numbers and simplified our privacy levels to five categories: none, low, medium, high and maximum. We have created a Privacy Rating scale to visually show this for every doorglass design:
