above for diameter of cut out. Proper cut out size is critical to allow proper surface area for springs to provide tension between the surface and trim ring. 3. Wires should be run to the location the light is to be installed prior to installation. If a third party driver is to be used, please reference the supplimental guide as well as follow all manufacture’s installation instructions. 4. Make sure all power is off at the location where the light is to be installed. ** MAKE SURE ALL POWER IS TURNED OFF BEFORE MAKING ANY ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS ** 8. Connect the lead wires for the light based on the application (24V power supply, Cantalupi Single Channel Dimmer, compatable driver/dimmer, etc.) (ILLUSTRATION 2). This step should be completed before final installation of the light.

Illustration 2

** LIGHTS SHOULD NEVER BE LEFT HANGING BY LEAD WIRES AS THIS COULD DAMAGE ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS HOUSED IN THE ATTACHED DRIVER OR LIGHT ** 9. Firmly pull back the side springs so that they are parallel with the light body (ILLUSTRATION 3). 10. Insert the light into the hole cut in Step 2 above and release the springs (ILLUSTRATION 4). The light will secure itself as the springs retract into place.
