Thank you for taking an interest in studying with Canterbury Christ Church University.

HESA 2017/18

For over fifty years, Canterbury Christ Church University (CCCU) has been providing people from around the world with a rich academic and professional education. We have a diverse and inclusive student and staff body with people from over 80 countries studying, learning, teaching and succeeding as part of our community. At Christ Church we celebrate our international activities, for both those students coming to Canterbury to take up their studies or for students travelling to study at one of our many partner organisations around the globe. The information contained within this student guide, should go some way to support your choices and decisions in what we recognise is an important and sometimes daunting time. As well as details here, there is a wealth of information contained within our University website. It is my privilege to have strategic leadership of the University’s international ambitions. We have a passionate belief in the power of higher education to enrich and transform lives and expand opportunity, and our research community has many areas of international excellence. We offer a huge range of courses, so if you want to give yourself a real advantage in an increasingly competitive world, look no further. We very much hope that you will want to join us, and look forward to receiving your application.

EXPLORE CANTERBURY CAMPUS

We are transforming our city campus, investing £150m in new and extended spaces for learning, teaching and research. This exciting development in the city started with the creation of a stunning creative arts building, followed by a major facility for science, technology, health, engineering and medicine. This impressive building is home to our new and dynamic range of industry-relevant engineering courses. These courses, and new spaces for research and innovation, focus on creativity in engineering, designing real-world solutions and opening up excellent career opportunities for our students and graduates. The new Kent and Medway Medical School (KMMS), a collaboration between Canterbury Christ Church University and the University of Kent, provides firstclass medical education. The new specialist facilities, bringing together engineering, medicine and health, will be an important base for KMMS student doctors studying at both universities.
