“Being at Canterbury since I was four years old, this school has shaped me into the young adult I am today. Since the beginning, Canterbury has encouraged a love of learning and a need to reach lofty goals, which successfully fostered the avid student within me. Being a college prep school, Canterbury has prepared me for the rigor and responsibilities I will experience in college, and I honestly could not have asked for a better foundation for my education.” Jesse Woodhull, Class of 2015

“The exceptional success achieved by the members of the Class of 2015, in the highly competitive college admissions process, is proof that when amazing individuals meet the challenges of a well-designed college-preparatory curriculum, doors of opportunity from the nation’s best colleges are opened. When those same students are then offered endless opportunities to grow as leaders and to reach out to their communities through service, the doors of opportunity open even wider. It has been an honor to work shoulder-to-shoulder with the fine students who will graduate from Canterbury School this year. I am filled with extreme hope and optimism for our future world when I look through their eyes.” Melissa Wilson, Director of College Guidance “Canterbury gave Matthew the confidence to speak his mind, personal and academic support, and a great education, all of which have prepared him for what is to come in college. Canterbury is a flexible school because its teachers and administrators work with students of all types, not just the academically successful, but those who are creative and think outside of the box. They tailor education for these students and allow them to explore various opportunities.” Lori May, Parent

“I am lucky to have attended Canterbury because of the advantages that the school has provided me. The most notable of these advantages is character building. Recently, the seniors contacted local businesses to apply for two-week unpaid internships, called Independent Senior Projects. I’ve contacted many local business owners and I believe that the values instilled in me by my family, and the educational opportunities at Canterbury, have given me an advantage when communicating with potential ISP hosts. I’ve practiced and developed my potential to be outgoing, pleasant and respectful. I believe that these characteristics, which have helped me in high school, will continue to benefit me in college and long after.” Andrew Lewis, Class of 2015
