My confidence has grown knowing that my work has been selected for exhibition at the Eurotunnel terminal in Folkestone. DAILY MIRROR NEXT GEN ISSUE DESIGN PROJECT Level 3 Graphic Design and Illustration student Kienan Greene has had the incredible opportunity to do some design work for the Daily Mirror’s latest project ‘NextGen’ – a special edition of the newspaper putting the issues British teenagers care about at the heart of national conversation. Kienan has designed the new masthead which is featured on the front page of the national newspaper. Kienan tells the Daily Mirror “I wanted to capture what newspapers are all about and give a voice to the younger people really focusing in on modern day problems and modern day trends which I believe I captured through the free hand typographic illustration I used. I am very pleased I was able to grasp this fantastic opportunity and I can only wish for many more to come.”

25TH ANNIVERSARY TRAIN WRAP PROJECT Earlier this year, Our students were asked to design proposals for a train wrap to celebrate Eurotunnel’s 25 years of operation. The project was an amazing experience for all the involved and we thank our partners at Eurotunnel Le Shuttle for making this possible. Rhys Evans’ design was shortlisted from designs submitted from the Level 3 Art & Design Students at Canterbury College. “We are incredibly proud of Rhys for his design being selected and wrapped on a Eurotunnel train. Rhys worked incredibly hard and put his skills to the test during our live project, and all of his work really paid off.” At the end of this year he is progressing to Portsmouth University to study a BA in Graphic Design.
