Total Distribution, Inc. (TDI), a wholly owned subsidiary of Peoples Services, Inc. (PSI), headquartered in Canton, Ohio has acquired the assets of Presidential Express Trucking, Inc., and Presidential Express Warehousing & Distribution, Inc., based in Bayonne, New Jersey. The acquisition continues the strategy of further diversifying and expanding the services offered by PSI and its affiliates. Presidential Express’s reputation and history were critical components and rationale for the acquisition.
Doug Sibila, Chief Executive Officer of PSI said, “Adding New York and New Jersey port access and related services to our existing network will improve the service levels and flexibility to PSI and Presidential Express’s current customers.”
John Brennan, founder of the Presidential Express companies stated, “As founder of Presidential Express companies, my goal was simple - to build a company based on a high level of professional services. Good fortune and great customers, some for decades, have guided us to reach our accomplishments. That is where we are today with our customers and our employees that are my second family. I am pleased to announce this new chapter in joining forces with Peoples Services/TDI. In meeting and getting to know Doug Sibila and his staff, I can see the opportunities and growth they can provide. Their values and expectations for service and people are second to none and are totally in line with mine. I am thankful for the journey and wish all continued success.”
